Employee Engagement

Employee Engagement is a behavior-based leadership development program


designed to improve business results through better communication between
managers and the people they supervise.

Managers who participate in the Employee Engagement Process go through the


following key steps:

 Attend an orientation session to better understand roles < Back to Tool Kit
 Take the following six online courses on Bechtel University: Sections of Employee Engagement
 Five PBL courses (LDR301-305) Overview
 Communicating Effectively Across Different Generations (PRO258) Contacts
 Attend a one day application workshop to apply PBL skills to real work issues
 Attend a one-on-one coaching session
 Participate in an upward feedback meeting with their direct reports
 Pick one behavior to improve and follow up monthly
 Have annual upward feedback meetings with their direct reports
