Balco Medical Centre – A Vedanta Medical Research Foundation

VMRF is a non-profit organisation initiated by Vedanta Resources and Bharat Aluminium Co. Ltd.
(BALCO) to contribute to the prevention of cancer and its related illnesses through a Centre of
Excellence in medical, surgical and radiation oncology. More than 2.5 million Indians currently live
with cancer and the country sees over 5,50,000 cancer-related deaths each year. With these statistics
in mind, VMRF aims to bring ultra-modern, multi-modality diagnostic and therapeutic facilities within
easy reach of India’s population at a reasonable and affordable cost

Cost Structure:

a) For contract-based service, the cost would be based upon the shipment value, country and Service
Type

For different global locations, the cost would be calculated based on the aerial distance and frequency
of schedules done

* Order weight is applicable in calculating the charge only if order exceeds certain minimal amount
and the minimal weight per order should be around 50Lbs
** Cost will vary depending upon the type of service availed during the order. Types of Services include
Next Flight Delivery and relaxed delivery. Next Flight delivery will be charged 50% higher than the
regular service type.

b) For exclusive agreement for a specific period, no minimum order quantity is imposed to serve rather
a subscription policy for minimum set of transactions will be signed for the deal. Further costing
methods and profit planning will be discussed by the top management with the client on mutual
benefits

Contractual Terms and Conditions

1. FedEx is responsible for any customs related solutions under the particular country’s abiding policies

2. We abide by customer privacy and would not indulge in any activity to tamper the information or
product

3. The product or shipment should be under the regulatory standards of the country of destination

4. All other complimentary services are serviced the same as default, unless discussed for denial

5. Payment period should be done after the product shipment for contract-based service and
undersigned could opt for partnering model in case of exclusive service
