It is my pleasure to provide this letter of recommendation for Amber Mosier. I have been
working with Amber at Mitchell Elementary K-6 in a professional level for the past year now.
Amber has currently been working as a Substitute Teacher serving various grade levels K-6
including my Special Day Class and in the Resource Classroom.

Her position requires skills in assessing the student’s needs, creating, and facilitating
lesson plans by various grade level teachers. She has also provided support to the various teachers
on campus to insure the success and academic growth of all students. Amber is always willing to
consult with the teachers, instructional assistants, and administration about issues to help all
classes on campus function smoothly. This has provided me with the opportunity to assist her
professional growth, and in my opinion, her expertise in the field of educating multiple level
students with various academic and cultural needs.

Amber has had a wide variety of experiences at our site and within are district that has
allowed her to become proficient in managing an array of student issues, successfully accessing
appropriate resources in the community and showing her constant positive mind set for student
growth in both academic and social areas. She has also developed a strong foundation of
classroom management, student respect, and admiration from the school staff. In Amber’s current
position, she is substituting in multiple grade level classrooms with students who have an array of
academic abilities and some with social skill deficits that often require constant collaboration and
monitoring. She has consistently worked well with a variety of staff members displaying an
ongoing ability to connect to many personality types regardless of their position, and constantly
goes the extra mile for the students she’s in contact with.

One of Amber’s greatest strengths has been her consistent interest in professional growth.
She has successfully followed through with her commitments to refining and expanding her goals
as she accomplishes them. I am more than confident in her ability to successfully achieve
