We are writing you now with regard to the recent press statement of the head of the Medical
Professions Licensing Division, Professor Shaul Yatziv, on the official website of the Israeli
Ministry of Health, issued on 18.12.2018.

Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova (SUMPh) in the period 4-6 November 2018.

Two weeks later, on 25th of November 2018, the Rector of SUMPh Ion Ababii had a meeting
with professor Yatziv in Jerusalem, Israel. During the meeting, it was shared exhaustive information
over the number of beds in clinical facilities of Nicolae Testernitanu State University of Medicine
and pharmacy. In the mentioned above press release, professor Yatziv declared significant
deficiency in clinical training of Israeli students at our university, mainly due to the insufficient bed
capacity reported to the number of medical students.
In this regard, we would like to present you the official data on the topic. The number of
beds used for clinical training of our students is regulated by the Governmental Decision
No. 42
