1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)
 My goal is to make 15 of the students understand the lesson and finish the activity with correct answer.
 My goal is to have quite class with good behavior student.

2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)
 Give them the new vocabulary word in the beginning of the lesson.
 Make an easy explaining and modelling to the student so they can understand what the lesson is about.
 Give me five methods to have good behaviour and quite class.

3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence)
 If 15 of the students understand the lesson and they answer easily the activity.
 If I have quite class wile I teach the student and if the student respond will when I use give me five
methods.

The teacher will show the students (the day of the week song) and (the letter sound song).

The teacher will tell the student that this unit will be about the toys and she will ask them some question:

What is your favourite toy?

What toy have you got at home?

Teacher will present the new vocabulary word by show the student a power point that have the English
word with the Arabic meaning and picture.
Time: 15 min

The teacher will show the student video about the big and small

Teacher will show the student some soft and hard object and she will explain the different between both

The teacher will show the students a pictures and she will ask them if it is big or small.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

The teacher will model the activity by show the student two object and she will pretend that she try to
solve the activity and she will start to think out loud so the student can hear what she think about and how
she solve the activity. She will say: “I have two cars with different size, so witch one of them is the big and
witch one is the small? I think this one is the big because its look like it is bigger than the other car”. The
teacher will point to the big car then the teacher will bout it with the big group.

The teacher will give them a poster has two parts the big and the small, also she will give them some
object to sort them in to the right place.

T: now I need you to work as group and to bout each object in the right place in the poster.
Time: 15 min

The student will start to work as group and they will sort the object in to two groups the big and the small
object.

The teacher will chick the students work and she will ask the students why they bout this object in this

Independent Experience(small group activity 2)

The teacher will model the activity for the student by bout the two baskets and she take two of the object
and she will say: “I have to object and I have to bout each one of them in the right basket or group. This
object is bigger on size than the other one so I think that this object is in the big basket and the other one
in the small basket”.

The teacher will give the student two baskets and some object and they have to sort it out as same as
what the teacher show them.

T: now I need you to work as group and to bout each object in the right basket.

The student will start to work as group and they will sort the object in to the baskets.

The teacher will chick the students work and she will ask the students why they bout this object in this
basket.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3)

The teacher will model the activity by take two of the wood stakes and she will say: “I have two wood
stakes and I have to touch it to feel if it is soft or hard. Now I will touch the first one I feel that it is easy to
teach and it is fluffy so I think it is soft”. So she has to bout the stake in to the soft cup. Then she will touch
the other stake and she will say: “I feel that it is tuff and it is not soft so I think it is in the hard cup” she has
to bout it in to the hard cup.

The teacher will give the students two cup and some wood stakes to sort them in to two groups the soft
and the hard in the two cups.

The student will work as group and they will start to touch the wood stakes and sort them in to the two
cups one soft and one hard.

The teacher will chick the students work and she will ask the students why they bout this stake in this cup.

T: today we learn about the size of the object and we compare between them and we say that there is big
