described how the U.S had to work quickly because Europe was

on the far right. He refused to let the European countries within

This primary source is a copy of the original Marshall Plan act


found in the national archives. Due to the introduction of it and
the act itself Stalin tightened his hold on the European countries
he controlled and put them under tyranny. They also could not
take part in The Marshall Plan and they didn't benefit.

These documents contain primary source that transcribe the


problems and instability that was occuring in the European
economy at the time led to the need of the Marshall Plan. The
Marshall plan ended up greatly improving the European economy
and restoring it. If it was not for the poor European economy the
Marshall Plan would not have been put into action thus there
being no triumph.

We found this cartoon in The library of Congress website. The


cartoon is a secondary source which shows former Soviet Union
leader Joseph Stalin trying to block a ball named Marshall Plan
from getting into the basket called European recovery. This is
used to portray how Stalin did not allow the European countries
within the Soviets control to recieve help from the U.S and they
suffered because of this.

countries by making them stay in the detrimental state they were
in and it took them a long time to recover.

This is a Secondary website that explained how the European


economy greatly benefited because of the Marshall Plan. Most of
the suffering ended and the European economy was restored to
what it used to be.

The book further explains as a secondary source two the
communist party started gaining power due to the instability of
the European economy. Communism was very close to taking
over all of Europe.

The illustration is a timeline of the Marshall Plan. The Plan was


first introduced on June 5, 1947. A lot of events happen during
the timeline but the next most important one is on June 30,1949
West Germany enters the Marshall plan. Then on December 10,
1953 George Marshall received a Nobel Peace Prize.

The secondary source, by the book, The Marshall Plan, explains


how World War II destroyed most of the European economy. It
destroyed most of the structures and cities, and also caused lots
of carnage. Peoples homes were destroyed and they had nowhere
to go. The European economy did its best to repair itself and
almost did but it still needed lots of help.

The secondary source, by the book, The Marshall Plan, elaborates


that during the time period of the Marshall Plan a new
constitution for Germany was made and approved by German
representatives. It governed the new democratic nation called
Federal Republic of Germany. Konrad Adenauer was elected to be
the first leader of this nation

GS Prentzas, tells of how many Europeans were homeless and had
very little hope. A lot of them were starving and many most likely
died.

effect of the Marshall Plan. It describes how the economic
development was going down in European areas under the Soviet
Union's control . Also it partially lead to The Berlin Blockage which
was a major international crisis that happened during the Cold
War.
