Find the Treasure Project.

The teacher will divide you in groups of two and will give each group two empty identical maps

1. Use “Toodledo” app to plan the role of each member and the time spent on each task. You will have 25

minutes to finish the following:

 On one map draw the following buildings and label them in Arabic: bank – post office – museum –

theater – police station – train station – hospital – hotel. In addition, name the main streets in

Arabic, example: ‫شارع الوردة – شارع الملك – شارع الفاكهة‬.

 On the same map, mark a start point (write ‫)البداية‬.

 On the second map, mark three points where you want to hide three treasures, number them 1, 2 and

3. Then tape an empty construction paper on top of it to hide the treasures (tape the paper only from

the top or one side so we can peak at the answers).

 On a lined paper, write the title “the road to the first treasure” (‫ )الطريق للكنز األول‬and describe the

directions from the start point to the first treasure, then the title “the road to the second treasure”

(‫ )الطريق للكنز الثاني‬and describe the directions from the start point to the second treasure, then the title

“the road to the third treasure” (‫ )الطريق للكنز الثالث‬and describe the directions from the start point to

the third treasure. Please, use command verbs.

 On a hard poster, write the title “Where are the three treasures?” (‫)أين الكنوز الثالثة‬. Then glue the three

papers (the map, the directions, then the hidden treasures marks) next to each other.
