introduction
Have you ever want to make some fruits or vegetable to
shrink or smaller ? you can do it now. The process that
can provides this amazing stuffs to happen is called
“dehydration”, this is the process that will make the
water came out of the products that you want to test.
This process has good benefits at increasing the taste of
the food . this process is also increase the sweetness of
the taste of the fruits and decrease the weights.
The experiment is to dehydrate the water from the fruits.
The next things is to measure the moisture of the fruits
before and after the dehydration. This experiment make
me understand the process and the way to calculate
moisture.

Discussion section
1.Each group member should comment on the changes
they observed from the wet to dry sample. This would
include their observation.
The pineapple be more smaller and harder and more
sticky. The taste is more sour and sweeter.

2. Were the sample complete the dry ? Why not? Why


did sample dry more efficiently then others?
It is complete , it is complete because it is place in the
right place of the dehydrators so the water got
dehydrate almost completely .
3. Why might we want to be careful with the type of
dried fruit we purchase? Are they all healthy? Research
this.
Some of them got coated by sugar or syrup and this is
mean some of the fruits be unhealthy to the health
because it has lots of sugar.

Conclusion
The fruits that got dehydrate will be sweeter and
more sourer the taste will be more clear and high.
The dehydration will make the food smaller and it
will make the transport foods easier. Our group
choose the pineapple then we cut the pineapple in
the cube then we put in the dehydrator machine
then wait for 24 hours.
