HOW TO USE Formulation B

Refer to Table 1 for formulation
specifications. Three formulations are
provided for varying applications:
Formulation A, containing
CARBOPOL®¹ 941, is recommended
for open beck applications, pH 4-8.
Formulation B, containing
ACRYSOL®² ASE-60, is
recommended for open beck
applications, pH 4-8.
Formulation C, containing
KELZAN®³ M (0.55%), is
recommended for open and pressure
beck applications, pH 4-12 and
electrolyte systems.
1. Add ACRYSOL ASE-60 to water.
2. Add DOW CORNING FB-50 Plus
Textile Antifoam.
3. Bring pH to 7 ±0.05 with NaOH.
4. Add biocide¤.

1. Disperse DOW CORNING
FB-50 Plus Textile Antifoam.
2. Add KELZAN stock solution.
3. Add biocide¤.

USABLE LIFE AND
STORAGE
When stored between 0°C (32°F) and
40°C (104°F) in the original
unopened containers, this product has
a usable life of 18 months from the
date of production.
During prolonged storage there may
be a slight tendency for product
separation; therefore, it is
recommended that DOW CORNING
FB-50 Plus Textile Antifoam be
gently agitated prior to use to ensure
homogeneity.
DOW CORNING FB-50 Plus Textile
Antifoam will freeze below 0°C
(32°F). If frozen, allow to thaw at
18-29°C (64.4-84.2°F) for at least one
day and agitate gently to assure
homogeneity.
PACKAGING
DOW CORNING FB-50 Plus Textile
Antifoam is supplied in 440 lb
(200kg) containers, net weight.
Evaluation samples are available upon
request.
