Through my school Pine Lake Preparatory I am part of a society called National Art 
Honor Society. Through the National Art Honor Society I was elected in my junior year 
to serve in my senior year as an officer. I was able to take both visual arts for four 
years and photography for two years. These classes expanded my interest in pursuing 
a career in the arts. 

VOLUNTEER 
 
 
I volunteer with the National Art Honor Society. I frequently volunteer at ​Ascension 
Lutheran Church with the​ youth group and ​I also serve as a crucifer. This summer I was a 
week long leader at our churches Christian Music Theatre Program working with children 
from ages five to thirteen years old. I plan to volunteer for the second time for the Nate’s 
Wish Foundation Basketball Tournament which raises money for children who are cancer 
patients. 

EXTRACURRICULAR 
 
 
I have been on my schools women's varsity tennis team for the past four years, and I was 
elected team captain for my junior and senior year of high school. I am currently a 
member of USTA (United States Tennis Association). I have participated in various tennis 
tournaments in the area. I also am involved in kickboxing and love doing photography.  

INTERNSHIP 
 
 
I am currently interning with a local photographer named Jeannie DeSena. I have had the 
opportunity to assist her in in photoshoots such as senior pictures, family portraits, etc.  

EMPLOYMENT 
 
 
I enjoy babysitting for the families on my street and in my church.  

TRAVEL 
 
 
I have been blessed with many opportunities to be able to travel. I have traveled to Italy, 
France, Monaco, Great Britain, Vatican City, Iceland, and Spain. Traveling has taught me 
how to appreciate, learn, and discover different cultures. I also appreciate being able to 
see all of the diverse landscapes and art of these countries.
