2. What is the purpose of immunisation?
3. What is the classification of immunisation ?
4. What is the benefit of immunnisation?
5. When is the immunisation given?

8. How can we reduce side effect of immunization?

STEP 3

1. What is immunisation ?
Immunisation is procedure/program to make someone to have the immune strength or
resistant to infection disease the strategy to make the passive immune by the weaken virus and
this is response to antigen, make the antibody to know the same antigen that infection before.
To make our body has memory about form disease or virus.
2. What is the purpose of immunisation?
- To activate passive immune
- To make self protection
- To decrease the number of mortality and morbidity in baby
- To make our immune strength
- To decrease infectious disease
3. What is the classification of immunisation ?
Immunization classified into 2 class :
1) Primary immunization
must be given to our body
2) Optional immunization
Depends on situation also if we want
4. What is the benefit of immunnisation?
- prevent suffering caused by illness, and the possibility of disability or death
- eliminating anxiety and psychological treatment when the child is ill
- improve healthy level
5. When is the immunisation given?

6. How is the procedure of immunisation?

Vaccine storage and transportation
• Preparation of tools and materials: for vaccinations and
overcome the emergency
• Giving preparation:
•History, age, distance with previous vaccination,
history of KIPI, contra indication and special attention
• Informed consent: benefits, KIPI risk
• Physical examination
• Way of giving
• Dosage, interval
• Location, angle, depth
• Remaining vaccine, injection of syringes
• Recording and Reporting
7. What is the correlation between needle length and immunisation?
The needle length depends on the injection location.
Intra dermal  BCG, Length: 10mm
8. How can we reduce side effect of immunization?
Method and technical procedure
Give anti-allergic if the baby intolerance the kind of immunization
Dozes must be appropriate
Give ice when post injection to the side of injection for vasoconstriction.
Nutrition to the baby breast milk
The sterilization of syringe
