Professional Development Plan
(What do YOU need to work on in order to grow professionally?)
1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)
My aims for this semester is to use differentiation - Good time management
during the classroom lesson and activities.
2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)
The strategies that I can use to achieve my goals: for the differentiation is to have
3 types of activities (low-medium- high) while to manage the time I could use
timer.
3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence)
The children for each level can solve the activity that I give him\her in enough
time and in the right way - spend enough time for each section as I planned.

All- Recognize and name letter “Cc” and its sound.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)
-Before introducing the lesson I will use a worm up song then I will review the phonics and ask the
students about their previous knowledge for letter Tt (last week letter).
- Ask the students about the new vocabularies and repeat the sound many times.
-Activity: Give the students cards with different pictures and it starts with different letters and ask
them to pick the cards the start with letter “Cc”.

-Explain the book work to the students which they have to do independently P:50

Craft: In this activity the student will create a cat look like letter C.
Math activity: students will have to put the cookies in the letter C in order, each cookie include
different number of small chocolate on it and student will have to put then in order.

The aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on is that My aims for this
semester is to use differentiation - Good time management during the classroom lesson and
activities. What made me really happy and impressed that I had finishesd and I achieved my
goal. I assessed the students by make them a checklist which was the best way to assesst.
