STUDENT LEARNING OBJECTIVE (SLO) PROCESS TEMPLATE

SLO is a process to document a measure of educator effectiveness based on student achievement of content standards. SLOs are a
part of Pennsylvania’s multiple-measure, comprehensive system of Educator Effectiveness authorized by Act 82 (HB 1901).

Students will play the song “Au Clair de la lune” to demonstrate their abilities in pitch,

2. Dismiss students in groups to go get guitars
3. Students practice “Au Clair de la Lune” for 1 minute until everyone is sitting with
their guitar
4. Students then turn around and set ipad up on riser above where they sit
5. Turn on camera and switch to video, make sure left hand is visible on the screen
6. Students press record and play together slowly, record 3 times as a class
7. Allow 2 minutes after all recording is finished to listen and choose 1 best video

8. Submit to schoology:
 Open schoology
 Open Music class (with Mickey Mouse ears)
 Select “Au Clair de la Lune Post test”
 Go to submissions
 Click on the blue plus sign in the top right corner
 Select “Submit Photo/Video”
 Find best video and upload

3. Scoring (Teacher)
