Santiago de Compostela is religious a city in northwestern Spain. In the center there
is a famous cathedral. Thousands of people come here to pray. Their religion is
Christianity and a lot of them make a pilgrimage that lasts weeks ore ven months.
The Christian pilgrims star their journey in France or Portugal and follow a lot of
different routes to Santiago de Compostela. About 200,000 pilgrims walk there every
year.
