Overall aim and context of the lesson

- Students will be able to identify human’s three types of teeth (Molars, Canines and
Incisors).
- Students will be able to memorize the job of each teeth.

Select (S):

- Students will be able to identify human’s three types of teeth (Molars, Canines and
Incisors).
- Students will be able to memorize the job of each teeth.

Molars: Back teeth for crushing and grinding food.

Canines (Fangs): In meat- eating animals like cats and dogs they are long and sharp and are

used for stabbing and gripping food.

Incisors: Front teeth are for snipping and cutting food.

Describe (D):

The lesson was about three different types of teeth molars, canines and incisors. I explained to
students the types of teeth and the job of each teeth. Students was able to draw a poster in this
lesson that help in improving student’s imagination and thinking skills. Student was also able to
use mirrors to see the types of teeth to memorize the information.
Analyze (A):
I observed that students in this lesson were well engaged because I was talking in clear voice, I
wrote the learning objectives in the board, I also gave each student in the classroom the ability to
work and answer. However, I gave students clear instructions to guided them during the lesson. I
also focused on communication skills to improve the interaction between teacher and students.
Appraise (A):

I believe that I did a good job in managing the classroom, preparing for the lesson plans, using
creative activities in this lesson such as the mirror and the poster, but I think that I should use more
oral or written feedback in the classroom to engage students and motivate them.
Transform (T):

I think that students could use a 3D shape tooth in the classroom as a real-life object. This will have
motivated them and improve their memorization skills. I think that they also could write down what
is the way of taking care of the teeth to connect the lesson to the real-life materials
