The Rosy Rule

Rojane Bernas

Seizing nice grades in school are troublesome and attaining life goals is another. Making it all
embrace reality against all odds bearing the hands of others are in a whole new different level. Likewise,
schooling and education are also naturally different from each other, so both have different meanings but
collide on one word – “study.”

Most students today crash on their studies because of being financially absent even though they
are intellectually present. Granted, but remember that Tanauan City College had quoted, “Making
education for all Tanauenos a reality.” This fixes the phrase, “financially absent”, but do not provides
assurance when “intellectually present” gets in because intellect and aptitude are sometimes not innate
but learning is. Free education is furnished by TCC through the elbow grease of the City Government, thus,
this is factually provided by the citizens of Tanauan City through their levied taxes. Imagine being one of
them and seeing that the acts and behaviors of Iskolars ng Lungsod are amiss. How will you feel about it?
Only two words can carry the weight of its significance – “responsibility and commitment.”

Responsibility takes place as we attain tickets on better opportunities that have tasks which are
required or expected to do. While on the other hand, commitment is something we must have when
grasping opportunities to create a promise. A promise of being loyal and works very hard towards
something. Both are easy to grasp but hard to understand until such moment when we learn to commit
with our life responsibly.

“Am I worthy of being a Iskolar ng Lungsod?” Some will regard the question with a tone of haughty
disdain and others with modest esteem. The substantiate of being a Iskolar ng Lungsod is simply be
responsible and be committed. Follow the rules and regulations of the school and carry out commitment
towards learning and studying, not for publicity but for your dreams.

Rules becomes rosy when it produces hope for future success and tends to exemplify optimism.
Stop being a nuisance and start to create a better world. Learn your responsibilities and never take it all
for granted. Learning is innate to all of us, so it is our duty to study. And it is also our duty to give respect
to those people behind our opportunities and future endeavors towards success.

Study and act enthusiastically to learn and receive passionate echoes.
