SEMI DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN ICT


I. Objectives
At the end of the one hour lesson, the Grade 7- Sampaguita students should be to
1. Know what is computer and its components;
2. Name the hardware devices of the computer; and
3. Participate actively to the class.

A. Preliminary Activities
a. Greetings
Greet the students and then ask them to seat properly and pick up pieces
of paper.

B. Developmental Activities

1) Motivation

Asks the students what is computer and its importance in our life.

2) Presentation

Computer
A computer is an electronic device, operating under the control of instructions
stored in its own memory that can accept data (input), process the data according to
specified rules, produce information (output), and store the information for future use.

Uses of a computer

Uses:

1. Takes data as an input.


2. Stored data in its memory and use them when required.
3. Processes data and converts it into useful information.
4. Generates output

b. Application Software

3) Developing Mastery

Name the parts of the computer being shown.

4) Application

Ask the students to name the parts of the computer being shown with its uses.

5) Generalizations

Let the students share their learning.

6) Evaluating Learning

Quiz (1-20) about the computer and its components

V. REMARKS Almost all of the students have an idea


about computer parts but can’t verbalize
their uses.
VI. REFLECTION
A. No. of learners who earned 80% in the More than half earned 80% in the
