For 2013, Amnesty International noted that of the 75 torture cases recorded by the CHR, 60 were

perpetrated by the police. Shetty said the CHR even acknowledged that many cases go unrecorded as
victims of police torture are usually afraid and intimidated from speaking up.

In my own judgement this violates Bill of Rights Section 4. In which it is stated that "No law shall be
passed abridging the freedom of speech, of expression, or of the press, or the right of the people
peaceably to assemble and petition the government for redress of grievances." This violates this law
because victims are not given their right to freedom of speech and expression.

Police Officers who do such acts must be penalize so that they would not do they same mistake over and
over again. And victim must know their right. The right to freedom of speech. They must not just shut
their mouth. Because police officers might just abuse their power and they would do they same violence
to other people that would possibly be their victim.
