ISACA KENYA CHAPTER ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD ON SATURDAY 24th NOVEMBER 2018 AT BEST WESTERN MERIDIAN

Minute 7/2018: Elections

1. The Chair of the Elections Committee, Raphael Onyango took up the Elections agenda item and the exiting Board was appreciated and asked to
exit the dias and take plenary seats.

2. The Chair, introduced the members of the Elections committee as follows

 Mr. Raphael Onyango - Chairman
 Paul Mulwa Musimba – Member
 Clare Situma - Secretary
 Whitney Njagi - Member
 Enid Otieno - Member

3. Paul Mulwa Musimba was tasked to take the members through the election process.
1. The first step in the election process was to introduce the various candidates for election.
2. The members agreed to have the unopposed candidates mentioned and not to make presentations. These were
1. Academic Coordinator – Paula Musuva
2. Certifications Coordinator – Lucy Muiruri
3. The contested candidates were called up to make brief presentations (not more than 3 mins) as follows:
a) For Membership Director
3. Dominic Kavita
4. Lusinde Mbwavi
5. Martin Kioko was in attendance at the AGM but had to leave for an international flight. His presentation was made by Paul Mulwa
Musimba of the Elections Committee.
6. Orifah.W. Peter Wydler was not present and did not make a presentation to the membership

8. Aprielle Moraa Oichoe was not present at the call but was allowed to present at the end of the presentation by secretary aspirants
