LESSON OBJECTIVE:
● Students will be able to recognize numbers and describe orally how to count to 100 by ones and tens at 90%
accuracy.
● Students will be able to skip count orally when called upon or as a class at 90% accuracy.
STANDARDS ADDRESSED:
● Common Core CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.CC.A.1
Count to 100 by ones and tens
ISTE 7. Students use digital tools to broaden their perspectives and enrich their learning by collaborating with
others and working effectively in teams locally and globally. 7a: Students use digital tools to connect with
learners from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, engaging with them in ways that broaden mutual
understanding and learning.
MATERIALS:
● Counting worksheet
● Hundreds chart for visuals
● Computer for the teacher which will be used to show a video to students and for the class to make their own
video.

● Closure: For a bonus activity, I will give the class the opportunity to make our own counting to 100
video like we watched today in class. The students will be able to choose dance moves to do in this
video to help with counting. Such as clapping, stomping, and any other dance move students would like
to do. (15mins)
ASSESSMENT EVIDENCE:
● The assessments for this lesson would be the worksheets we worked on, walking around to check and
make sure the class is counting correctly, and having students count aloud.
● The link between the goals and objectives establishes their counting by ones and tens.
MODIFICATIONS:
● Those who could not meet the objective for today could work on counting before class for a warm up.
● They can be paired with an elbow partner to make sure they have help during the lesson.
● I could modify the numbers to make them bigger when we’re learning them and give visual objects to
represent the numbers we are counting.
