1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)
I need to work on managing students’ behaviour by using different strategies to motivate children in following the
rules. For example, follow direction.
2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)
I will use several strategies to achieve my goal. For example, I will reinforce the good behaviour to children copy what
their friend is doing. Also, I will use the reward system to reward the good behaviour and motivate the children to
follow my rules.
Under
Teacher:
Ask the students to guess which sound they will learn today.
Ask the students to guess the sound is vowel or consonant?
Ask the students to say what the vowels of the alphabet are.
Write the vowels (A, E, I, O, U) on the board.
Tell the students today they will learn new sound /u/.
Ask the students to write letter u in the air.
Read a story that contain letter u.
Ask the student to memorize the words that they hear in the story.
Sing with the students “sound /u/ song”.
Students:
Answer the teacher and guess which sound they will take.
Write the letter /u/ in the air.
Listen to the story.

Art activity:
Create your own umbrella
Students will cut the plate, and stick the wood stick on it. The they will use several materials
to design their umbrella.
