Compete for cash prizes and an opportunity to perform with the CVSO. Follow in the footsteps of
previous winners who went on to careers in music, medicine, education, and engineering.

For musicians between 14 and 18 years 2 Applicant must be 14 years of age

downtown Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Eligibility: Any young musician may participate
in this contest sponsored by the Chippewa
Valley Symphony Orchestra, the University of
Wisconsin – Eau Claire Department of Music,
the Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony and
Kristo Orthodontics.
RULES
1 Each contestant must perform a
movement of a Concerto or an Aria of
similar difficulty. The approximate length of
the entry should be between 8 and 16
minutes. For comparable length, singers may
choose to perform two arias. Any cuts in the
score must be approved in advance. The
