There are numerous good examples of where Travel & Tourism is acting as a catalyst
for conservation and improvement of the environment and maintenance of local
diversity and culture. Travel & Tourism creates jobs and wealth and has tremendous
potential to contribute to economically, environmentally and socially sustainable
development in both developed countries and emerging nations. It has a comparative
advantage in that its start up and running costs can be low compared to many other
forms of industry development. It is also often one of the few realistic options for
development in many areas. Therefore there is a strong likelihood that the Travel &
Tourism industry will continue to grow globally over the short to medium term.
Growth of the tourism industry in a nation’s economy is paramount, as it creates
employment for young people, needs small capital and could be the only viable
business in some countries.

The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those
who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn. Agree or Disagree?
Sample Answer
Schools and college play a pivotal role in our education. These institutions often tend to force their
students to learn more and more, without mastering the fundamentals. Some people argued that to
unlearn and relearn means that they have to forget things they had learned and learned it again at some
point in life; but others argued that means you have to be open to new ideas, challenge existing theory
and improve initial understanding of that subject. These will be analyzed in the following essay by
looking at what is the meaning of unlearning and relearning to each.
On one side, people argued that unlearn and learn means to forget things we had learned and learned it
again at some point in life. For example, a game called “Tower of Hanoi” where people have to decouple
of things they have built to arrive at the final solution. This can be seen that unlearn is a process to
demolish something that is already there and relearn to build it again so they could arrive at the target
objectives.
While on the other side, people argued that unlearn happens when you are open to a new perspective
on the things you already know, and relearn happens when you accept a new perspective and
appreciate your knowledge from that perspective. Together they will help to overcome misconception
and misunderstanding that was there from the time you learned something new.
It is concluded that the second argument is best representing the message of what the quote was trying
to convey. People can achieve greater technological advance by opening to radical ideas, challenging
current understanding, and improving overall perspective.
There is a cut-throat competition in each and every field and it is widely argued that elder people have
been prejudiced by some parameters like age. However, such discrimination occurs in the corporate
world while giving growth, ranking, and unauthenticated termination. In my opinion, such biased view
should be discarded by some ways. My inclination is further supported by suitable arguments and
examples.
To begin with, my first opinion to support my notion is old traits who found to be physically or
mentally unfit can be transferred to other product works like administration, Human Resource
management and much more rather than completely terminating them. For an extended, in many
countries, elder persons are often transferred to security jobs or management jobs like attendance,
documentary work for handling accounts, for expertise, decision making and much more.
On the flip side, young people should also be given a chance to show their capability towards their
work. Young people found to be more energetic, quick learner, easily adopt new approaches and have
multitasking strength. In some jobs, it is a prerequisite to have physical fitness and such jobs should
be provided to youth. For an illustration, few jobs like Salesman, Marketing, Construction, Heavy
engineering requires physical fitness.
All in all, the discussion can be wrapped by saying that both old people and youth both should be
given equal chance based on requirement and there should not be any illegal discrimination against
them.
One of the loopholes in the Volstead Act allowed for the manufacture and sale of
sacramental wine, medicinal wines for sale by pharmacists with a doctors? prescription,
and medicinal wine tonics (fortified wines) sold without prescription. Perhaps more
important, Prohibition allowed anyone to produce up to two hundred gallons yearly of
fruit juice or cider. The fruit juice, which was sometimes made into concentrate, was
ideal for making wine. People would buy grape concentrate from California and have it
shipped to the East Coast. The top of the container was stamped in big, bold letters:
caution: do not add sugar or yeast or else fermentation will take place! Some of this
yield found its way to bootleggers throughout America who did just that. But not for long,
because the government stepped in and banned the sale of grape juice, preventing
illegal wine production. Vineyards stopped being planted, and the American wine
industry came to a halt.

Information revolution has changed the way of mass communications and had some
negative and positive effects on individual lives as well as on society. To what extent do
you agree or disagree?
Sample Answer
Information technology has not only brought the world closer together, but such connection can also
have its upside and downside. Some people have been finding it is easier to contact friends from
different parts of the world while others argued that they are having issues with privacy and cyber-
bullying. The question of whether it has positive effects like speedy communication, and social
networking rather than negative effects like cyber-bullying and privacy have become a much-debated
issue.
On one hand, people have been finding that information technology help in speedy communication and
social networking. For example, it takes only twenty seconds to update your Twitter. Before this, you
need to call each people, followed by small talk before discussing the main topic. Another point is
extending your social networking, connecting people in a new way. It is entirely possible to have
hundreds of friends on Facebook. They may not be friends you know on a personal level, but they are
still considered your friend nevertheless.
On the other hand, people also argued about drawbacks like cyber-bullying and privacy. The immediacy
provided by social media is available to predators as well as friends. Kids especially are vulnerable to the
practice of cyber-bullying in which the perpetrators, anonymously or even posing as people their victim
trust, terrorize individual in front of their peers. In several cases, victims have even been driven to
suicide. Social networking sites encourage people to be more public about their personal lives. Because
intimate details of our lives can be posted so easily, users are prone to bypass the filter they might
normally employ when talking about their private lives.
In conclusion, after looking both views, it is strongly agreed that information revolution had more
negative impact on individual lives as well as on society.
