Overview of the lesson: Lesson was well introduced and very modeled the students. There
various pictorial representation and the instructions were explicit methodical.
The GRRM was evident during the lesson. Students transitioned efficiently from teacher’s
instruction to their book work. Great use of the instructional time. The classroom was well
managed. Once the workbook assignment was completed, students transitioned to their activity
in which they had to create a caterpillar using multiples.
Lesson was assessed using a checklist
Areas for development: The lesson plan was not followed. There was no mention of a workbook
assignment in the plan.
Lesson may have been too teacher centered. Time spent on whole class instructions must be
reduced.
Differentiation was not clear. Mastered level students were to find the multiples of timetable 8-9.
Activity is not in alignment with the objective of the lesson
Focus for next lesson:
Different form of assessment other than checklist
Student centered activity.
