IMPLEMENTATION POLICY OF SOLiD WASTE DISPOSAL

(METAL, WOOD, PLASTIC, GLASSES)

Mellitah Oil and Gas BV - Libyan Branch) has recognizes its responsibility to protect
the environment while operating its facilities and Installations. in order to operate as
effectively as possible its facilities and conform applying to modern techniques and
following recognized national & International standards for health, Safety,
Environment, Quality and Security (HSEQ-S), Mellitah Oil and Gas BV is aiming to
obtain ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications for all sites.

All Mellitah Oil and Gas BV employees with no exception are subject to the terms of
this Implementation Policy.

In order to achieve successful results the company needs to fulfill the standards and
cooperation from all involved parties including contractors as follows:

.:. All Contractors and others working inside the company premises shall have a waste
management plan, which will be reviewed and approved by Mellitah Oil and Gas BV.
.:. During the contract life the contractors shall use as temporary dumping area only the
areas approved by the company once these had been evaluated to be used for temporary
collection and segregation (metal, wood,plastic, glasses)
.:. All generated waste from operation and administration activities will be segregated and
disposed such as established in the respective waste management plan (metal, wood,
plastic, glasses)
.:. The waste to be collected will efficiently be segregated, tagged and classified prior
transporting to the waste disposal centre and it should be put on special designated area
(metal, wood, plastic, and glasses)
.:. All contractors and others working inside the company premises shall transport the waste
to the MaG designated area.
.:. All wastes produced in any activity shall be timely collected and separately stored by their
different natures.
.:. Waste storage areas shall be barricaded, sign posted and shall be kept clear of any
windblown garbage in/or outside of the barricading.
.:. All waste stored in designated area could be re used for industrial purposes is subject to
HSEQ and Management approval either for disposal or action.
