Personal Target
1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)
Time management and finish the activity precisely in time that I put it, to have time for doing the closing and
review the lesson.

2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)
Preparing the activity materials in my table before the class start and choose a higher-level learner as a group
leader to help me divide the activity for her group students and explain it to them and help them while doing
the activity.

3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence)
I will not waste time to deliver the activity materials for each group and describe the activity and remember
them the time to finish the activity. So, I will have time to do the closing with the students while they finish.

What is the relationship between addition and multiplication?

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

I will introduce to the students what we are going to learn. (learning outcomes) “Today we are
going to learn about how to relate addition and multiplication with using groups”

Giving an addition question, then explain the relate addition and multiplication, and show them the

This activity is differentiated based on student’s levels:

Mastered level: They will solve all three questions and write the addition and model it with
stickers.

Developing level: They will Solve the multiplication and model it with stickers.

Emerging level: They will just model the question and write the answer.

Independent Experience (small group activity 2): Puzzle

I will give the students in Flowers, Creatives and Pearls groups this puzzle with a worksheet. The
students first should solve the puzzle, then write it in the worksheet next to each same picture in the
table with the answer.

This activity is differentiated based on student’s levels:

Mastered level: Solve all the puzzle and write the answer.

Developing level: Solve some answer and complete the table.

Emerging level: Solve the small numbers write it in the sheet

Assessment

-Going around the groups while doing the activity and draw a star for the mastered level, square developing
level and circle for emerging level.

-Draw a model on the board and give the students a stick not to write the answer, then collect students
answers as an exit card and check for understanding.
