Hoops are
underway!
While the Class C Showcase
kicked off the high school
basketball season in Glasgow
last weekend, the Scotties got
their first taste of competition
Thursday night as they
hosted Roundup. Fans were
treated to a pair of exciting
varsity games including an
overtime. And in that OT, the
Scotty boys got nipped by the
Panthers 51-47. The Scotty
girls, however, are off to a 1-0
start. Paced by Anika Peters,
who was a perfect 8-8 from
the free throw line and racked
up 15 points, they knocked
off Roundup 47-42. Glasgow
hit the road this morning
to Baker. The varsity boys’
game gets underway at 5:30
with the girls to follow. Tune
in to KLTZ for play-by-play
coverage. And don’t forget
to tune into the Saturday
Morning Sports Show which
will be broadcast from the
GHS Gymnasium prior to
the start of the 23rd Annual
Scotty Invitational Wrestling
Tournament. Pictured at right
are Taylor Pederson (#35),
Alexys Mann (#11) and our
halftime entertainment.

St. Marie Water/Sewer District Update
A wild one
Chevy Boos (#30) moves in to set a pick on Roundup’s one tenth of a second left in regulation. Chris Bradley
Kaide Griffith for Kobe Sibley. The Scotties, down would make one of two freethrows and send the
