event, it is now also supported to update orcreate purchasing info
records or create contracts out of an SAP Ariba sourcing event as
follow-on documents after awarding.

Core price request using the SAP Fiori for SAP S/4HANA user experience
For various reasons, it is necessary from time to time to request an actual price for a specific material or service. This could be
achieved by sending a sourcing request to SAP Ariba Sourcing Solution or to Ariba Network. For simple price requests, it is now
supported to execute the entire process in S/4HANA directly.

For specific materials and material groups the contracts can be
very similar. Instead of creating contracts new from scratch for
those materials or material groups, contracts can also be
created now by using contract templates.

Scheduling Agreements
A scheduling agreement consists of a number of items, for each of which a
procurement type is defined. Delivery of the total quantity of a material, as
specified in a scheduling agreement item, is spread over a certain period in a
delivery schedule, consisting of lines indicating the individual quantities with
their corresponding planned delivery dates. Scheduling agreement releases
are issued to suppliers, instructing them to deliver the relevant material on the
dates shown.

Scheduling Releases

customer to record the current status of the lines of
a delivery schedule stored in the system for a
scheduling agreement item and then transmit this
status to the supplier.
