Type of Game:
Initiative

Group size:
10-25 participants

Approximate time:
30-40 minutes
(3-5 minute intro, 15-25 minutes of doing the activity, 5-10 minute debrief)

Props:
4 different colored pieces of paper, numbered 1-4

Basic Objective:
To place the correct person on each of the four pieces of paper that you, the facilitator, have chosen
beforehand, under the amount of tries that the group set as their goal

Instructions:
-Place each of the four pieces of paper on the ground in a horizontal line, roughly arms length apart
-Group must set a goal as to how many attempts they can have(define what an attempt is)
-Explain to the group that you (the facilitator) have assigned four different people to a designated
colored paper. The group must figure out the correct person on each colored paper by a trial and error
process. Doing so, the group can try different variations of people on each paper and ask if they are
correct once there are four different people on the different colored paper. The group may continue to
ask if they are correct after each attempt.
-You the facilitator will tell them how many people they have correct when they ask, and how many
pieces of paper have the correct person on it without telling them who the correct person is. Keep
doing this until the group figures out the correct people for each piece of paper

Notables:
-You may mute participants if they are controlling the group or talking
a lot
