CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
JAHVAH – Nursing Student - University of South Florida- GPA: 3.7
Currently rotating on 4S- Post Medical Surgical unit at James A. Haley Veteran’s hospital. Care
duties include: administering medication to patients, Foley care, NG tube care, wound care, IV
insertion and care, phlebotomy, PICC and central ling dressing change, EKG electrode placement,
tracheostomy care and suctioning, chest tube dressing. Registered nurse supervised care provided
to patients. Completed 5 rotations-150 hours each.
Conducted clinical rotation at Spinal Cord Injury unit, Emergency Department, Pediatric and
Obstetrics, Physiatrist and medical surgical units. Care included performing physical assessments,
obtaining vital signs, performing clinical tasks, assisting with ADL’s under the supervision of a
Registered Nurse.
Under the supervision of a registered nurse, completed 214+ hours in addition to mandatory USF
rotations. Care included performing physical assessments, obtaining vital signs, administering
medications, executing patient plans of care, evaluating patients’ and families’ responses to
individualized nursing interventions, and providing discharge planning and patient/family
education.

Health Care Specialist
Supervised medical Role 1 facility in Afghanistan, providing medical treatment for 2000+
soldiers and civilians by assisting the Physician Assistant with inpatient and outpatient care.
Duties includes: Medical examination, obtaining vitals, application and removal of surgical,
wound, and skin dressing; collection of urine and blood specimens for analysis; assisted in
clinical and dispensary; performed routine admission tests, administration of immunization and
assisting patients with common diseases.
Managed Personnel records, processed, reviewed and coordinated administrative tasks pertaining
to personnel accountability, strength management, awards, and promotions (1000 + hours).
Assisted with managing IPERMS record review (80 hours), entering in vaccination, profiles, and
medical notes for 950 soldiers.
Handpicked to manage and conduct the Urine Analysis Program on behalf of the commander for
the unit; which was conducted every month for 100 soldiers as well as led and set standard
operation procedures for the Field Sanitation Program for the unit.
Combat Life Saver Instructor for the Physical Readiness Annual Training, teaching management
of hemorrhage, airway, breathing and circulation to Soldiers.
