Business Model and Revenues
The BitGate business model is based on being a safe and easy to use gateway that allows users
to access a wide range of financial services. BitGate users get direct access to all the services that
comprise the new Digital Economy while our partners gain access to fully identified BitGate users.

Case 1: Buy and Sell Digital Assets


BitGate integrates a partner exchange that the user can directly interact with. BitGate
earns revenue from each transaction.

Case 2: Premium Custodial Service


Users can activate a Premium service enabling higher insured custodial amounts to be
stored on the platform. BitGate charges users of this service with a basis point fee per
month on stored assets.

Future Revenue Streams
BitGate uses a microservice-oriented design to integrate with the growing ecosystem of fintech and
smart banking services. BitGate is a light-weight and agile alternative to the banks in the era of Open
Banking, taking full advantage of the emerging API-based ecosystem and PSD2 regulations.

Case 1: Fiat Loan backed by Digital Assets


Users gets loans in NOK, EUR or USD using their
deposited Bitcoin or other Digital Asset as collateral.
This provides the users with Fiat liquidity without
having to realize their digital asset holdings.

Case 2: Interest on Deposits


Users vest their funds to receive interest on their
deposits. Users select between various pre-vetted
services to earn passive income on their holdings.

Case 3: Payments and Banking with PSD2


Users pay their bills directly in the application or at a
point-of-sale. PSD2 regulations enable BitGate to act as
a Payment Initiation and Account Information Service
Provider (PISP/AISP).
