GLORY!

Miracles happen in the Glory!

The Glory comes when we invite His Presence!

Miracles, glory and His Presence are all of the same fabric

The time of His appearing (2nd coming) is nearer now that it ever has been before!
The first & second century believers were consumed with the return of Jesus. David
Sliker

Luke 2:9
An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and
they were terrified.

14"Glory to God in the highest,

and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

David Swan – Passion for the Glory

“Passion for the Glory is the pure passion for the pure Presence. It is a hunger for greater
intimacy with God. It is a passion for union and oneness with Him. It is a passion and
pursuit for the fullness of God.”

How do we get there? Into that place of His Presence – where His glory overshadows us
and miracles occur?

Virgin Mary
Luke 1:35 – “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will
overshadow you.”

Genesis 1:1 – In the beginning...and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

God’s Spirit , God’s Presence, His Glory goes first – before any miracle, any creation –
first there is His very essence.

1 After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to
praise him for the splendor of his [a] holiness as they went out at the head of the army,
saying:
"Give thanks to the LORD,
for his love endures forever."

His PRESENCE is the KEY!

GLORY FILLS THE TEMPLE

1
Exodus 40

Setting Up the Tabernacle

1 Then the LORD said to Moses: 2 "Set up the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, on the
first day of the first month.

33 Then Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and altar and put up the
curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses finished the work.

The Glory of the LORD

34 Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the
tabernacle. 35 Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud had settled
upon it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

36 In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle,
they would set out; 37 but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out—until the day it
lifted. 38 So the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the
cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel during all their travels.

1 Kings 8

The Ark Brought to the Temple

6 The priests then brought the ark of the LORD's covenant to its place in the inner
sanctuary of the temple, the Most Holy Place, and put it beneath the wings of the
cherubim.

10 When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud filled the temple of the
LORD. 11 And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the
glory of the LORD filled his temple.

2 Chronicles 5

The Ark Brought to the Temple

11 The priests then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had
consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions. 12 All the Levites who were
musicians—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives—stood on the east side
of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres. They were
accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets. 13 The trumpeters and singers joined in
unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by
trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD
and sang:

2
"He is good;
his love endures forever." (Psalm 136)
Then the temple of the LORD was filled with a cloud, 14 and the priests could not
perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the temple of
God.

 Psalm 100:4 “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give
thanks to him and praise his name.”
 We must slow down and allow God to have His way among us. and “uncover”
Himself before us through our songs, prayers, praise and worship.
 We must wait long enough in His presence to become aware of His heartbeat.
 Worship leads us into intimacy and communion
 Worship releases prophecy! Revelation 19:10

“…Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

 Speaking the Word of God, with the Presence of the Glory of God releases
miracles. i.e. Roman centurion – tells Jesus if you just speak the word… Ezekiel 37 –
dry bones – Ezekiel spoke the word of God – prophesied the word of God and a miracle
began to take place in the Presence and Glory of God
 There is a NOW time to call for your miracle. When you experience that “heavy
glory”, it is time to call forth miracles

Now, it’s one thing to have Him come; and another thing to have Him MOVE

When He moves; then we can move with him and do what He is telling us to do

Wait until you KNOW what He is telling us to do

Whatever you did to get Him to come, keep doing it, worshiping and loving on Him until
He starts to move.

Declare or speak what He tells us to.

UNITY – One Accord

John 17:22 “And the glory which you gave Me I have given them, that they may be one
just as We are one.

Psalm 133:1 How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!

2 Chronicles 5:13 – “13 The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice,
to give praise and thanks to the LORD.

What miracle do you need from God today?

Physical, financial, emotional, relational?

3
You may be thinking that what you need is too hard for God – but it’s not! God wants to
prove His love to you today!

This is the time of unusual miracles for the entire Body of Christ!

Revelation 4:11
"You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being."

David Van Koevering

Musical instruments are weapons
“Music will take you someplace and those that are entertainers are “fallen Psalmists”

The use and the purpose of music is to create an envelope (for His Presence)

A portal opens when we praise God and He inhabits that praise. Ps. 22:3

Rock n’ roll, rap, blues, is man to man music and as man to man music happens; the
audience, the listener, the entertained, always go where the artist is.

If he’s in violence, or he’s in immorality, if the lyrics are not correct, the audience w ill
go where the artist goes – art does that.

Mentally, spiritually; the entertained always go where the artist TAKES them.

But the same thing is what happens in worship, which is the purpose of somebody taking
you into the Presence of God.
