Working principle and special functions for cooling

Principle:
Air conditioner absorbs heat in the room and transmit to outdoor and discharged, so that
indoor ambient temperature decreased, its cooling capacity will increase or decrease by
outdoor ambient temperature.
Anti-freezing function:
If the unit is running in COOL mode and in low temperature, there will be frost formed on
the heat exchanger, when indoor heat exchanger temperature decreased below 0oC , the
indoor unit microcomputer will stop compressor running and protect the unit.
Working principle and special functions for heating

Principle:
Air conditioner absorbs heat from outdoor and transmits to indoor, in this way to increase
room temperature. This is the heat pump heating principle, its heating capacity will be
reduced due to outdoor temperature decrease.
If outdoor temperature becomes very low, please operate with other heating equipments.
Defrosting:
When outdoor temperature is low but high humidity, after a long while running, frost will
form on outdoor unit, that will effect the heating effect, at this time, the auto defrosting
function will act, the heat running will stop for 8-10mins.
During the auto defrosting, the fan motors of indoor unit and outdoor unit will stop.
During the defrosting, the indoor indicator flashes, the outdoor unit may emit vapor.
This is due to the defrosting, it isn’t malfunction.
After defrosting finished,the heating will recover automatically.
Anti-cool wind function:

In “Heat” mode, under the following three kinds of state, if indoor heat exchanger doesn’t
arrive at certain temp., indoor fan will not act, in order to prevent cool wind blowing(within
2 mins):
1. Heating starts. 2. After Auto Defrost finished. 3. Heating under the low temperature.
Rest Heat Blow

In the following situations, the indoor unit may still run for some time,
to blow out the rest heat of the indoor unit.
1. In HEAT mode, the temperature reaches the setting value, the compressor stops and the
indoor fan still run for 60s.
2. In HEAT mode, if you turn off the unit, the compressor stops and the indoor fan still run for
10s.

Remote Controller Description

1 ON/OFF:
Press this button to turn on the unit . Press this button again to turn off the unit.
2 MODE
Each time you press this button, a mode is selected in a sequence that goes from AUTO, COOL,
DRY, FAN, and HEAT *, as the following:
*Note: Only for models with heating function.
After energization, AUTO mode is defaulted. In AUTO mode, the set temperature will not
be displayed on the LCD, and the unit will automatically select the suitable operation
mode in accordance with the room temperature to make indoor room comfortable.
3 Press this button to decrease set temperature. Hold it down for above 2 seconds to
rapidly decrease set temperature. In AUTO mode, set temperature is not adjustable.

4 Press this button to increase set temperature. Hold it down for above 2 seconds to
rapidly increase set temperature. In AUTO mode, set temperature is not adjustable.

5 This button is used for setting Fan Speed in the sequence that goes from AUTO,

7 HEALTH SAVE:
Press HEALTH part of this button to turn on or off HEALTH function.
Pressing SAVE part of this button, is displayed and the unit goes into SAVE operation
mode. Press SAVE part of the button again to cancel SAVE function. During SAVE
operation, the temperature and fan speed is not adjustable.

• Press button to start or stop left & right swing function.The remote controller defaults to
simple swing condition.
• Press + button and button at the same time at unit OFF to switch between simple swing
and static swing; blinks for 2 seconds.
• In static swing condition, pressing button, the swing angle of left & right louver changes as
below:
• If the unit is turned off during swing operation,the louver will stop at present position.
(Optional for some models)
9 X-FAN:
Pressing X -FAN button in COOL or DRY mode,the icon “X-FAN” is displayed and the
indoor fan will continue operation for 2 minutes in order to dry the indoor unit even though
you have turned off the unit.
After energization, X-FAN OFF is defaulted. X-FAN is not available in AUTO, FAN and
HEAT mode.
Note:X-FAN is the alternative expression of BLOW for the purpose of under standing.
10 TEMP:
Press this button, you can see indoor set temperature, indoor ambient temperature
on indoor unit’s display. The setting on remote controller is selected circularly as below:
When selecting “ “ with remote controller or no display, temperature indicator on indoor unit
displays set temperature; When selecting with remote controller, temperature indicator on
indoor unit displays indoor ambient temperature; 3s later or within 3s it
receives other remote control signal that will return to display the setting temperature.
Caution:
This model hasn’t outdoor ambient temperature display function. While remote controller can
operate “ “and indoor unit displays set temperature.
It’s defaulted to display set temperature when turning on the unit.
• Only for the models with temperature indicator on indoor unit.
TIMER:
11 Press TIMER button at unit ON to set TIMER OFF; HOUR OFF blinks. Press TIMER
button at unit OFF to set TIMER ON; HOUR ON blinks. In this case, pressing + or -
button changes time setting. Holding downeither button rapidly changes time setting
(time setting range 0.5-24hours). Press TIMER button again to confirm setting; HOUR
ON/OFF stops blinking. If there is not any operation of button within 5 seconds during
HOUR ON/OFF blinking,TIMER setting will be cancelled.
12 TURBO:
Press this button to activate / deactivate the Turbo function which enables the unit to
reach the preset temperature in shortest time. In COOL mode, the unit will blow strong
cooling air at super high fan speed. In HEAT mode, the unit will blow strong heating air
at super high fan speed. (This function is not applicable for some models).

SLEEP :
13 Press this button to go into the SLEEP operation mode. Press it again to cancel this
function. This function is available in COOL, HEAT (Only for models with heating
function) mode to maintain the most comfortable temperature for you.
14 LIGHT:
Press LIGHT button to turn on the display’s light and press this button again to turn off
the display’s light. If the light is turned on , is displayed. If the light is tunrned off,
disappears.
15 Combination of “+” and “-” buttons: About lock
Press “+” and “-” buttons simultaneously to lock or unlock the keypad. If the remote
controller is locked, is displayed. In this case, pressing any button, blinks
three times.
16 Combination of “MODE “ and “-” buttons:About switch between Fahrenheit and Centigrade.

Replacement of Batteries
1. Remove the battery cover plate from the rear of the remote controller.
(As shown in the figure)
2.Take out the old batteries.
3.Insert two new AAA1.5V dry batteries, and pay attention to the polarity.
4. Reinstall the battery cover plate.
Notes:
• When replacing the batteries, do not use old or different types of batteries, otherwise, it may
cause malfunction.
• If the remote controller will not be used for a long time, please remove batteries to prevent
batteries from leaking.
• The operation should be performed in its receiving range.
• It should be kept 1m away from the TV set or stereo sound
sets.
• If the remote controller does not operate normally, please
take the batteries out and reinsert them after 30 seconds.If it
still can’t operate properly, replace the batteries.

Emergency Operation
Emergency Operation
If the wireless remote control is lost
or broken, please use the manual switch button. At this time, the unit will run at the Auto
mode, but the temperature and fan speed cannot be changed. The operation was shown
as below:
To open the panel, the manual switch is on the displayer box.
• Turn on the unit: At unit turned off, press the button,the unit will run at Auto mode im-
mediately.The microcomputer will accord to the indoor temperature to select (Cooling,
Heating, Fan) and obtain the comfortable effect.
• Turn off the unit: At unit turned on, press the button, the unit will stop working.

Care and Cleaning
Caution
• Turn power off and pull out the power plug before cleaning air conditioner, or it may cause
electric shock.
• Never sprinkle water on the indoor unit and the outdoor unit for cleaning because it can cause
an electric shock.
• Volatile liquid (e.g. thinner or gasoline) will damage the air conditioner. (So wipe the units with
a dry soft cloth, or a cloth slightly moistened with water or cleanser.)
Cleaning the Front Panel

When cleaning the front panel, please dip the cloth into the water temperature of 45℃ below,
then to dry the cloth and wipe the dirty part.
Note: Please do not immerse the front panel in water, due to there are microcomputer compo-
nents and circuit diagrams on the front panel.
Clean the air filter (Recommended once every three months)

Note: If dust is much more around the air conditioner, the air filters should be cleaned many
times. After taking off the filter, don’t touch the fin of indoor unit, in order to avoid hurt your
fingers.
1. Take down the air filter

At the slot of surface panel to open an angle, pull the air filter (Fig.a)
downward and take it out, please see the Fig. 4 ( a, b).
2. Clean the air filter

To clean the dust adhering to the filters, you can either
use a vacuum cleaner, or wash them with warm water
the water with the neutral detergent should below 45 ℃ (Fig.b)

NOTE: Never use water above 45 ℃ to clean, or it can
cause deformation or discoloration. Never parch it by
fire, or can cause a fire or deformation.

Check before Use

1. Be sure that nothing obstructs the air outlet and intake vents.
2. Check that whether ground wire is properly connected or not.
3.Check that whether the batteries of air conditioner are

changed or not.
4. Check that whether the installation stand of the outdoor
unit is damaged or not. If damaged, please contact the dealer.
Maintenance after Use

1. Turn main power off.
2. Clean the filter and indoor and outdoor units’ bodies.
3.Clear dust and obstructions from the outdoor unit.
4. Repaint the rubiginous place on the outdoor unit to prevent it from spreading.
5. Adopt the special shield to cover the outdoor unit, avoid the rain water, dust enter into the
unit and get rust.

Don’t attempt to repair the air conditioner by yourself, it can cause an electric shock or
fire. Please check the following items before asking for repair, it can save your time and
money.

Troubleshooting
• In HEAT mode, when the temperature of in-

may be emitted.
• In DRY mode, the indoor fan will stop blowing

air for 3-12 minutes in order to avoid condens-
ing water being vaporised again.
Moisture on air outlet : • If the unit operates at high humidity for a long
time, moisture will be generated on the air
outlet grill and then drip off.
Defrosting or oil return mode • It is normal.

• The indicating lamp in heat mode will wink
0.5s and light 10s.
If any one of the following situations occurs, immediately stop all operations,
cut off the power supply, and contact the authorized personnel
• There is harsh sound during operation.

• Strong odours are emitted during operation.
• Water is leaking from the unit. Stop operation
and cut off the power supply.
• The air switch or protection switch often trips.
• Water or other liquid is splashed into the unit.
• Power cord and power plug is overheating.

Notices for installation
Important Notices
1. The unit installation work must be done by qualified personnel according to the local rules
and this manual.
2. Before installation, please contact with local authorized maintenance center, if unit is not in-
stalled by the authorized maintenance center, the malfunction may not solved, due to discom-
modious contacts.
3. When removing the unit to the other place, please firstly contact with the authorized Mainte-
nance Center in the local area.
4. The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.
Basic Requirements For Installation Position

Install in the following place may cause malfunction. If it is unavoidable contact with
service center please:
• Place where strong heat sources, vapors, flammable gas or volatile object are emitted.
• Place where high-frequency waves are generated by radio equipment, welders and medical
equipment.
• Place where a lot of salinities such as coast exists.
• Place where the oil (machine oil) is contained in the air.
• Place where a sulfured gas such as the hot spring zones is generated.
• Other place with special circumstance.
Indoor Unit Installation Position Selection

1. The air inlet and outlet vent should be far from the obstruction, make sure that the air can be
blown through the whole room.
2. Select a position where the condensing water can be easily drained out, and the place is easily
connected for outdoor unit.
3. Select a location where the children can not reach.
4. Can select the place where is strong enough to withstand the full weight and vibration of the
unit. And will not increase the noise.
5. Be sure to leave enough space to allow access for routine maintenance. The height of the
installed location should be 250cm or more from the floor.
6. Select a place about 1m or more away from TVset or any other electric appliances.
7. Select a place where the filter can be easily taken out.
8. Make sure that the indoor unit installation should accord with installation dimension diagram
requirements.
9. Do not use the unit in the immediate surroundings of a laundry a bath a shower or a swim-
ming pool.
Outdoor Unit Installation Position Selection
1. Select a location from which noise and outflow air emitted by unit will not inconvenience
neighbors, animals, plants.
2. Select a location where there should be sufficient ventilation.
3. Select a location where there should be no obstructions cover the inlet and outlet vent.
4. The location should be able to withstand the full weight and vibration of the outdoor unit and
permit safe installation.
5. Select a dry place, but do not expose under the direct sunlight or strong wind.
6. Make sure that the outdoor unit installation dimension should accord with installation dimen-
sion diagram, convenient for maintenance, repair.
7. The height difference of connecting the tubing within 5m, the length of connecting the tub-
ing within 10m.
8. Select a place where it is out of reach for the children.
9. Select a place where will not block the passage and do not influence the city appearance.

Operation Tips
Safety Requirements For Electric Appliances

1. The power supply should be used the rated voltage and AC exclusive circuit, the power cable
diameter should be satisfied.
2. Don’t drag the power cable emphatically.
3. It should be reliably earthed, and it should be connected to the special earth device, the instal-
lation work should be operated by the professional. The air switch must have the functions
of magnetic tripping and heat tripping, in order to protect the short circuit and overloading.
4. The min. distance from the unit and combustive surface is 1.5m.
5. The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
6. An all-pole disconnection switch having a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles
should be connected in fixed wiring. For models with a power plug, make sure the plug is
within reach after installation.
7. Including an air switch with suitable capacity, please note the following table. Air switch
should be included magnet buckle and heating buckle function, it can protect the circuit-
short and overload. (Caution: please do not use the fuse only for protecting the circuit)

Note:
• Make sure that the Live wire or Zero line as well as the earth wire in the family power socket can
not be wrong connected, there should be reliable and no short circuit in the diagram.

Earthing requirements
1. Air conditioner is type I electric appliance, thus please do conduct reliable earthing measure.
2. The yellow-green two-color wire in air conditioner is earthing wire and cannot be used for oth-
er propose. It cannot be cut off and be fix it by screw, otherwise it would cause electric shock.
3. The earth resistance should accord to the National Criterion.
4. The user power must offer the reliable earthing terminal. Please don’t connect the earthing
wire with the following place:
1. Tap water pipe. 2. Gas pipe. 3. Contamination pipe.
4. Other places that professional personnel consider them unreliable.
5. The model and rating values for fuses according the silk print on fuse cover or related
PCB board.

Installation of Indoor Unit
Install the rear panel

1. Always mount the rear panel horizontally. Due to the water tray of indoor unit has been adopted
the both-way drainage design, the outlet of water tray should be adjusted slightly down when
installing, that is taking the outlet of the water tray as the center of a circle, the included angle be-
tween the evaporator and level should be 0 or more, that is good for condensing water drainage.
2. Fix the rear panel on the wall with screws. (Where is pre-covered with plastic granula)
3. Be sure that the rear panel has been fixed firmly enough to withstand the weight of an adult of

Connecting Indoor and Outdoor Electric Wires
1. Open the surface panel.

2. Remove the wiring cover as shown in Fig 6.
3. Route the power connection cord and signal control wire from the back of the indoor unit and
pull it toward the front through the wiring hole for connection.
4. Connect the interconnection cord to the terminal block, and then fix the cord with cord anchorage.
5. Reassemble the clamp and wiring cover.
6. Recover the surface panel.

2. Test operation method

(1) Switch on power, press “ON/OFF” button on the wireless remote control to start the operation.
(2) Press MODE button, to select the COOL, HEAT (Cooling only unit is not available), FAN to check
whether the operation is normal or not.

Installation Instructions
1. Forcibly pull the panel for a specific angle from the two ends of
the front panel according to the arrow direction. Then pull the
air filter downwards to remove it. (See Fig.a)
2. Mount the healthy filter onto the air filter,(as shown in Fig.b).
If the air filter cannot be installed, please mount the healthy
filter on the front case. (as shown in Fig.c)
3. Mount the air filter properly along the arrow direction in Fig.d,

Cleaning and Maintenance

Take out the healthy filter before cleaning and reinstall it after cleaning according to the instal-
lation instruction. Pay special attention to that silver ion filter can’t be cleaned with water, while
active carbon, photocatalyst, low temperature conversion (LTC) catalyst, formaldehyde eliminator,
ca-techin or mite killing filter can, but can’t with brush or hard things. Dry it in the shade or sun
after cleaning, but not by wiping.
Service Life
The healthy filter commonly has its usage lifetime for one year under normal condition. As for
silver ion filter, it is invalid when its surface becomes black (green).
This supplementary instruction is provided for reference to the unit with healthy filter. If the
graphics provided herein is different from the physical goods, the latter one shall prevail. The
quantity of healthy filters shall be based on the actual delivery.

Λειτουργία παρεμπόδισης ρεύματος ψυχρού αέρα

Στη λειτουργία “Heat” (Θέρμανσης), στις τρεις παρακάτω περιπτώσεις, εάν ο εσωτερικός
εναλλάκτης θερμότητας δεν έχει επιτύχει μία συγκεκριμένη θερμοκρασία, ο εσωτερικός
ανεμιστήρας δε θα λειτουργήσει, για να αποφευχθεί το ρεύμα ψυχρού αέρα (εντός 2 λεπτών
από):
1. Την έναρξη θέρμανσης.
2.Το τέλος της Αυτόματης Απόψυξης.
3.Θέρμανση σε συνθήκες χαμηλής θερμοκρασίας.
Ελαφρύ Ρεύμα Αέρα

Στην παρακάτω περίπτωση, η εσωτερική μονάδα μπορεί να συνεχίσει να λειτουργεί για
κάποιο μικρό χρονικό διάστημα και να διοχετεύει προς τα έξω τη θερμότητα που εναπομένει
στην εσωτερική μονάδα.
1. Στην κατάσταση λειτουργίας “Heat” (Θέρμανση), όταν η θερμοκρασία έχει φτάσει στην τιμή
ρύθμισης, ο συμπιεστής σταματά να λειτουργεί και ο ανεμιστήρας της εσωτερικής μονάδας
θα εξακολουθεί να λειτουργεί για 60 δευτερόλεπτα.
2. Στην κατάσταση λειτουργίας “Heat” (Θέρμανση), αν απενεργοποιήσετε τη μονάδα,
ο συμπιεστής σταματά να λειτουργεί και ο ανεμιστήρας της εσωτερικής μονάδας θα
εξακολουθεί να λειτουργεί για 10 δευτερόλεπτα.

Στην λειτουργία AUTO, η ρυθμισμένη θερμοκρασία δεν εμφανίζεται στην οθόνη και η μονάδα
θα επιλέξει αυτόματα την κατάλληλη λειτουργία βάσει την τρέχουσα θερμοκρασία δωματίου
ώστε να δημιουργηθεί ένα άνετο περιβάλλον. (Για τα μοντέλα μόνο Ψύξης το πάτημα στην
λειτουργία HEAT δεν θα έχει αποτέλεσμα).
3 Πατήστε αυτό το πλήκτρο για να μειώσετε την ρυθμισμένη θερμοκρασία. Κρατώντας το
πατημένο για παραπάνω από 2 δευτερόλεπτα μειώνεται η θερμοκρασία γρήγορα. Στην
λειτουργία AUTO η ρυθμιζόμενη θερμοκρασία δεν μπορεί να αλλάξει.

Πατήστε αυτό το πλήκτρο για να αυξήσετε την ρυθμισμένη θερμοκρασία. Κρατήστε το
πατημένο για τουλάχιστον 2 δευτερόλεπτα έτσι ώστε να μειώνεται γρήγορα η θερμοκρασία.
Κατά τη λειτουργία AUTO η ρυθμισμένη θερμοκρασία δεν προσαρμόζεται.

Με αυτό το πλήκτρο ρυθμίζετε την ταχύτητα του ανεμιστήρα με την εξής σειρά: AUTO ,

Πατήστε αυτό το πλήκτρο για να ξεκινήσετε ή σταματήσετε την άνω και κάτω κίνηση
της οριζόντιας περσίδας. Καθώς η περσίδα θα ανεβοκατεβαίνει, πατήστε το πλήκτρο
για να την σταματήσετε σε συγκεκριμένη θέση. Όταν το κλιματιστικό βρίσκεται εκτός
λειτουργίας πατήστε το πλήκτρο + και το πλήκτρο ταυτόχρονα έως ότου αναβοσβήσει
για 2 δευτερόλεπτα το σύμβολο για να μπορέσετε να ρυθμίσετε την θέση της περσίδας μέσω
τηλεχειριστηρίου σε συγκεκριμένη θέση.
Εάν τερματίσετε την λειτουργία του κλιματιστικού όσο υπάρχει παλινδρόμηση της περσίδας, η
περσίδα θα σταματήσει στη συγκεκριμένη θέση.

7 HEALTH SAVE:
Πατήστε το πλήκτρο HEALTH/SAVE στην αριστερή του πλευρά για να θέσετε σε λειτουργία
τον ιονιστή. Πατώντας την δεξιά πλευρά του πλήκτρου, εμφανίζεται η ένδειξη iκαι το
κλιματιστικό μπαίνει στη λειτουργία SAVE. Πατήστε ξανά την δεξιά πλευρά του πλήκτρου για
να απενεργοποιήσετε την λειτουργία SAVE. Κατά την λειτουργία SAVE, η θερμοκρασία και η
ταχύτητα του ανεμιστήρα δεν μπορούν να προσαρμοστούν.

Με αυτό το πλήκτρο ρυθμίζετε τις κάθετες περσίδες μέσω τηλεχειριστηρίου. Αυτή η λειτουργία
δεν διατίθεται σε αυτό το μοντέλο. Η ρύθμιση των κάθετων περσίδων γίνεται χειροκίνητα.
9 X-FAN:
Πατήστε αυτό το πλήκτρο στις λειτουργίες Ψύξης ή Αφύγρανσης. Το εικονίδιο X-FAN εμφανίζεται
και ο ανεμιστήρας της εσωτερικής μονάδας εξακολουθεί να λειτουργεί για 2 λεπτά έτσι ώστε
να στεγνώσει το στοιχείο της εσωτερικής μονάδας ακόμα και αφού έχετε απενεργοποιήσει
το κλιματιστικό. Αυτό βοηθά στο να διατηρείται το εσωτερικό του κλιματιστικού καθαρό έτσι
ώστε και ο αέρας να βγαίνει φρέσκος και καθαρός. Κατά την ενεργοποίηση του κλιματιστικού
η λειτουργία X-FAN απενεργοποιείται. Η λειτουργία X-FAN δεν είναι διαθέσιμη στις λειτουργίες
AUTO-FAN-HEAT.
TEMP:
10 PΠατώντας αυτό το πλήκτρο μπορείτε να δείτε την ρυθμισμένη θερμοκρασία ή την υφιστάμενη
θερμοκρασία του δωματίου. Η ακολουθία των ενδείξεων στο τηλεχειριστήριο έχει ως εξής:
Όταν επιλέγετε “ “ ή καμία ένδειξη τότε εμφανίζεται η ρυθμισμένη θερμοκρασία. Όταν

επιλέγετε εμφανίζεται η υφιστάμενη θερμοκρασία του δωματίου. Μετά από 3 δευτερόλεπτα
λαμβάνει εντολή από το τηλεχειριστήριο να επαναφέρει στις ενδείξεις την ρυθμισμένη
θερμοκρασία. Αυτό το μοντέλο δεν διαθέτει ένδειξη εξωτερικής θερμοκρασίας. Ακόμα και
όταν εμφανίζεται η ένδειξη “ “η θερμοκρασία που μπορείτε να δείτε είναι η ρυθμισμένη
θερμοκρασία εσωτερικού χώρου. Όταν ξεκινάτε την λειτουργία του κλιματιστικού η
θερμοκρασία που βλέπετε είναι η ρυθμισμένη.
11 TIMER:
Πατήστε αυτό το πλήκτρο για να ενεργοποιήσετε το χρονοπρόγραμμα (χρονοδιακόπτη)
αυτόματης έναρξης ή παύσης λειτουργίας του κλιματιστικού σε προκαθορισμένη ώρα.
Πατήστε το πλήκτρο TIMER όταν το κλιματιστικό είναι απενεργοποιημένο για να ρυθμίσετε
την προκαθορισμένη ώρα έναρξης λειτουργίας του κλιματιστικού. Αναβοσβήνει η ένδειξη
HOUR OFF. Πατώντας τα πλήκτρα + ή – μπορείτε να αλλάξετε την ώρα που έχετε ρυθμίσει.
Πατώντας παρατεταμένα αυτά τα πλήκτρα η ώρα αλλάζει γρήγορα εντός εύρους 0.5 – 24
ώρες. Πατήστε ξανά το πλήκτρο TIMER ώστε να επιβεβαιώσετε την ρύθμιση. Η ένδειξη HOUR
ON/OFF σταματά να αναβοσβήνει. Εάν δεν υπάρξει εντός 5 δευτερολέπτων καμία εντολή όσο
η ένδειξη HOUR ON/OFF αναβοσβήνει, η ρύθμιση του χρονοδιακόπτη ακυρώνεται.

12 SLEEP: Πατήστε αυτό το πλήκτρο για να ενεργοποιήσετε την λειτουργία SLEEP (νυχτερινή
λειτουργία). Η λειτουργία SLEEP είναι εφικτή όταν το κλιματιστικό λειτουργεί στην Ψύξη ή την
Θέρμανση. Η λειτουργία SLEEP βοηθά στην διατήρηση της σωστής θερμοκρασίας του χώρου.
TURBO: Πατήστε αυτό το πλήκτρο για να ενεργοποιήσετε/απενεργοποιήσετε την λειτουργία

13 TURBO. Με την λειτουργία TURBO επιτυγχάνεται γρηγορότερα η ψύξη ή η θέρμανση του
χώρου. Στην λειτουργία Ψύξης το κλιματιστικό θα παράγει έντονο ψυχρό αέρα στον χώρο
στην πολύ υψηλή ταχύτητα του ανεμιστήρα. Στην λειτουργία Θέρμανσης το κλιματιστικό θα
παράγει έντονο ζεστό αέρα στον χώρο στην πολύ υψηλή ταχύτητα του ανεμιστήρα.
14 LIGHT: Πατήστε το πλήκτρο LIGHT για να φωτίσει η οθόνη του τηλεχειριστηρίου. Πατήστε
το ξανά για να φύγει ο φωτισμός. Όταν ενεργοποιηθεί η λειτουργία LIGHT εμφανίζεται το
σύμβολο . Όταν η λειτουργία απενεργοποιείται το σύμβολο εξαφανίζεται.
15 Συνδυασμός των πλήκτρων “+” και “–“. Σχετικά με το κλείδωμα. Πατήστε τα πλήκτρα “+” και “–“
συνεχόμενα ώστε να κλειδώσετε ή ξεκλειδώσετε το τηλεχειριστήριο. Εάν το τηλεχειριστήριο
έχει κλειδωθεί θα εμφανιστεί το εικονίδιο . Σε αυτή την περίπτωση πατώντας οποιοδήποτε
πλήκτρο το εικονίδιο αναβοσβήνει τρεις φορές.
16 Συνδυασμός των πλήκτρων “MODE” και “-”. Με αυτόν τον συνδυασμό γίνεται αλλαγή από
Φαρενάιτ σε Κελσίου. Όταν το κλιματιστικό βρίσκεται εκτός λειτουργίας πατήστε συγχρόνως
τα πλήκτρα “MODE” και “-” για να αλλάξετε την θερμοκρασία από oC σε oF.
Αντικατάσταση Μπαταριών
1. Αφαιρέστε το κάλυμμα των μπαταριών που βρίσκεται στο πίσω μέρος του τηλεχειριστήριου.
(Όπως φαίνεται στην εικόνα).
2. Αφαιρέστε τις παλιές μπαταρίες.
3. Εισάγετε δύο νέες μπαταρίες ΑΑΑ1.5V προσέχοντας τους πόλους + και -.
4. Επανατοποθετήστε το κάλυμμα των μπαταριών.
ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΕΙΣ
• Όταν αντικαθιστάτε τις μπαταρίες μην χρησιμοποιείτε παλιές και νέες ταυτόχρονα και προσέξτε
τον τύπο αυτών. Σε διαφορετική περίπτωση μπορεί να
προκληθεί δυσλειτουργία.
• Όταν το κλιματιστικό δεν χρησιμοποιείτε για μεγάλο χρονικό
διάστημα, αφαιρείτε τις μπαταρίες από το τηλεχειριστήριο ώστε
να αποφευχθεί πιθανή διαρροή.
• Οι εντολές από το τηλεχειριστήριο στην εσωτερική μονάδα
μπορούν να ληφθούν εντός συγκεκριμένης εμβέλειας και εφ’
όσον δεν υπάρχουν εμπόδια στο ενδιάμεσο.
• Το τηλεχειριστήριο πρέπει να φυλάσσεται τουλάχιστον 1 μέτρο
μακριά από την τηλεόραση ή το στερεοφωνικό.
• Σε περίπτωση που το τηλεχειριστήριο δεν λειτουργεί κανονικά,
παρακαλούμε αφαιρέστε τις μπαταρίες και επανατοποθετήστε
τες μετά από 30 δευτερόλεπτα. Εάν εξακολουθεί και δεν
λειτουργεί αντικαταστήστε τις μπαταρίες.

Όταν το τηλεχειριστήριο έχει χαθεί ή έχει χαλάσει,
παρακαλούμε χρησιμοποιήστε τον χειροκίνητο δια-
κόπτη που βρίσκεται στην εσωτερική μονάδα. Το κλι-
ματιστικό θα λειτουργεί μόνο στην λειτουργία AUTO
και η ρύθμιση της θερμοκρασίας ή η ταχύτητα του
ανεμιστήρα δεν θα μπορούν να αλλάξουν. Η θέση του
διακόπτη χειροκίνητης λειτουργίας φαίνεται στην δι-
πλανή εικόνα.
Χειροκίνητος Διακόπτης
• Πώς να ξεκινήσετε την λειτουργία του κλιματι- Λειτουργίας
στικού: Όταν το κλιματιστικό βρίσκεται εκτός
λειτουργίας πατήστε διακόπτη χειροκίνητης
λειτουργίας για να ξεκινήσει η μονάδα σε AUTO
λειτουργία. Ένας μικροϋπολογιστής θα επιλέξει
αυτόματα την λειτουργία (COOL – HEAT – FAN)
σύμφωνα με την υπάρχουσα θερμοκρασία δω-
ματίου έτσι ώστε να δημιουργηθεί ένα άνετο πε-
ριβάλλον.
• Πώς να τερματίσετε την λειτουργία του κλιματι-

στικού. Πατήστε ακόμα μία φορά τον διακόπτη
χειροκίνητης λειτουργίας.

Φροντίδα και Καθαρισμός
Προσοχή
• Τερματίστε την λειτουργία του κλιματιστικού και βγάλτε το φις από την πρίζα πριν τον
καθαρισμό ή την συντήρηση του κλιματιστικού.
• Μην πιτσιλάτε με νερό το κλιματιστικό για τον καθαρισμό του. Μπορεί να προκληθεί
ηλεκτροπληξία.
• Σκουπίζετε το κλιματιστικό με στεγνό, μαλακό, καθαρό πανί ή με ένα ελαφρώς νωπό πανί (όχι
εμποτισμένο με διαλυτικό, βενζίνη ή άλλα παρόμοια υγρά).
Καθαρισμός Της Πρόσοψης

Αφαιρέστε την πρόσοψη. Βυθίστε ένα κομμάτι υφάσματος σε νερό πιο παγωμένο από 45 oC και
στεγνώστε το. Μετά σκουπίστε το βρώμικο μέρος της πρόσοψης.
ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ: Μην βυθίζετε την πρόσοψη σε νερό έτσι ώστε να προστατέψετε τα μέρη του
μικροϋπολογιστή και το κύκλωμα διαγράμματος που βρίσκονται επάνω σε αυτή.
Καθαρισμός Των Φίλτρων Αέρα (Κάθε 3 Μήνες)

Μην ακουμπάτε τα μεταλλικά πτερύγια του εσωτερικού στοιχείου κατά τον καθαρισμό της
πρόσοψης έτσι ώστε να αποφευχθούν τυχόν ατυχήματα.

1. Αφαίρεση Των Φίλτρων Αέρα
Ανασηκώστε την πρόσοψη.
Ανασηκώστε ελαφρώς τα φίλτρα αέρα ώστε να ξεκουμπώσουν και
τραβήξτε τα προς τα κάτω ώστε να βγουν από την θέση τους όπως
φαίνεται στις εικόνες (Α) & (Β).

2. Καθαρισμός Των Φίλτρων Αέρα

Χρησιμοποιήστε ηλεκτρική σκούπα για τον καθαρισμό των φίλτρων
αέρα.
Σε περίπτωση που τα φίλτρα είναι πολύ βρώμικα, βυθίστε τα σε ζεστό
(όχι καυτό) νερό με ελαφρύ καθαριστικό.
Στεγνώστε πολύ καλά τα φίλτρα σε μέρος σκιερό.
ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ: Ποτέ μην χρησιμοποιείτε νερό του οποίου η

θερμοκρασία ξεπερνά τους 45oC για τον καθαρισμό των φίλτρων

Έλεγχος Πριν την Χρήση

1. Βεβαιωθείτε πως τίποτα δεν εμποδίζει τις εισόδους ή τις εξόδους
του αέρα.
2. Ελέγξτε εάν έχουν αλλαχθεί οι μπαταρίες του τηλεχειριστηρίου.
3. Ελέγξτε εάν η βάση της εξωτερικής μονάδας στηρίζεται σωστά.

Σε περίπτωση που η βάση έχει καταστραφεί ή χαλαρώσει συμ-
βουλευθείτε άμεσα τον εξουσιοδοτημένο τεχνικό.
Συντήρηση Μετά Την Χρήση

1. Τερματίστε την λειτουργία του κλιματιστικού και βγάλτε το φις από την πρίζα.
2. Καθαρίστε τα φίλτρα και τα εξωτερικά μέρη της εσωτερικής και εξωτερικής μονάδας.
3. Καθαρίστε τα εμπόδια από την εξωτερική μονάδα.
4. Βάψτε τα σημεία της εξωτερικής μονάδας που έχουν εμφανίσει σκουριά προκειμένου να απο-
τρέψετε τυχόν επέκτασή της.

Προσοχή
Το κλιματιστικό δεν πρέπει να επισκευάζεται από τον χρήστη. Λάθος επισκευή μπορεί να προκα-
λέσει ηλεκτροπληξία ή πυρκαγιά για αυτό τον λόγο παρακαλούμε επικοινωνήστε με το εξουσιο-
δοτημένο Service όπου θα μπορέσει να σας παρέχει επαγγελματική επισκευή της συσκευής σας.
Πριν καλέσετε το Service ελέγξτε τα κάτωθι σημεία:

Το κλιματιστικό δεν λειτουργεί. • Το κλιματιστικό δεν λειτουργεί σε περίπτωση
που ενεργοποιηθεί αμέσως αφού το έχετε

προστασίας του μηχανήματος. Αφού απενερ-
γοποιήσετε το κλιματιστικό θα πρέπει να περι-
μένετε 3 λεπτά για να το ενεργοποιήσετε ξανά.
Εκλύονται οσμές. • Πιθανών να εκλύονται κάποιες οσμές από την

εσωτερική μονάδα. Αυτό είναι αποτέλεσμα
των οσμών του εσωτερικού χώρου (όπως
οσμές από έπιπλα, καπνό τσιγάρου κλπ.) όπου
έχουν εισχωρήσει στο κλιματιστικό.
• Συμβουλευτείτε εξουσιοδοτημένο τεχνικό για
τον καθαρισμό του κλιματιστικού σε περίπτω-
ση που η οσμή εξακολουθεί.
Ήχος ροής νερού • Ο ήχος ροής νερού που πιθανόν να ακούσετε

είναι η ροή ψυκτικού υγρού στο εσωτερικό
της συσκευής.

ματιστικό θα αρχίσει αυτόματα απόψυξη και
η εσωτερική μονάδα δεν θα βγάζει αέρα για
3 – 12 λεπτά.
• Κατά την λειτουργία απόψυξης μπορεί να εμ-
φανιστεί νερό ή ατμός.
Κατά την λειτουργία αφύγρανσης ο εσωτε-
ρικός ανεμιστήρας θα σταματήσει να παράγει
αέρα για 3 – 12 λεπτά έτσι ώστε να αποφευ-
χθεί τυχόν εξάτμιση του νερού
Υγρασία στην έξοδο του αέρα. • Εάν το κλιματιστικό λειτουργεί με επίπεδα

υψηλής υγρασίας για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστη-
μα, θα δημιουργηθεί υγρασία στην γρίλια της
εξόδου αέρα και μετά θα πέσει κάτω.

Σημειώσεις για την Εγκατάσταση
Προσοχή!
1. Η συσκευή πρέπει να εγκαθίσταται από εξουσιοδοτημένο τεχνικό, βάσει των τοπικών
κανονισμών και των οδηγιών αυτού του εγχειριδίου.
2. Πριν την εγκατάσταση επικοινωνήστε με το Επίσημο Κέντρο Τεχνικής Υποστήριξης. Αν
η συσκευή δεν εγκατασταθεί από εξουσιοδοτημένο τεχνικό, σε πιθανή βλάβη μπορεί να
προκύψουν προβλήματα εγγυοδοσίας (due to discommodious contacts).
3. Πριν μετεγκαταστήσετε τη συσκευή σε άλλο σημείο, επικοινωνήστε με το Επίσημο Κέντρο
Τεχνικής Υποστήριξης.
4. Προειδοποίηση: Πριν αποκτήσετε πρόσβαση στις ηλεκτρικές συνδέσεις της συσκευής,
αποσυνδέστε τη συσκευή από το ρεύμα.
5. Αν το καλώδια ισχύος είναι χαλασμένο, πρέπει να αντικατασταθεί από το Επίσημο Κέντρο
Τεχνικής Υποστήριξης του κατασκευαστή, ή παρόμοια εξουσιοδοτημένο τεχνικό για την
αποφυγή ηλεκτροπληξίας.
6. Η συσκευή πρέπει να εγκατασταθεί έτσι ώστε η πρίζα να είναι προσβάσιμη.
7. Καθώς η θερμοκρασία του ψυκτικού κυκλώματος είναι υψηλή, παρακαλούμε τοποθετήστε τα
ηλεκτρικά καλώδια μακριά από αυτό.
8. Η συσκευή αυτή δεν προορίζεται για χρήση από άτομα (περιλαμβανομένων των παιδιών) με
μειωμένες σωματικές, αισθητικές ή πνευματικές ικανότητες ή από άτομα με έλλειψη εμπειρίας
και γνώσης, εκτός αν βρίσκονται υπό εποπτεία ή τους έχουν παρασχεθεί οδηγίες σχετικά με τη
χρήση της συσκευής, από κάποιο άτομο υπεύθυνο για την ασφάλειά τους.
9. Τα παιδιά πρέπει να επιτηρούνται ώστε να διασφαλίζεται ότι δεν παίζουν με τη συσκευή.

Σημείο Εγκατάστασης
Η σωστή εγκατάσταση είναι βασική προϋπόθεση για την καλή και αποδοτική λειτουργία της
συσκευής. Αποφύγετε σημεία εγκατάστασης όπου υπάρχουν:
• άλλες εστίες θερμότητας, ατμού, εύφλεκτων αεριών κλπ.
• υψηλής συχνότητας ηλεκτρομαγνητικά κύματα, όπως από ραδιόφωνα, ιατρικά μηχανήματα κλπ
• επικαθήσεις αλάτων (πχ. παράκτιες περιοχές)
• βιομηχανικά αέρια και λάδια στον αέρα
• χαμηλή ποιότητα αέρα λόγω υψηλής συγκέντρωσης ρύπων
Εσωτερική Μονάδα
1. Προσέξτε να μην εμποδίζεται ή είσοδος και έξοδος του αέρα στη συσκευή. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι ο
αέρας προωθείται σε όλο το δωμάτιο.
2. Επιλέξτε ένα σημείο, όπου μπορεί να γίνει εύκολα η αποχέτευση των συμπυκνωμάτων και η
σύνδεση με την εξωτερική μονάδα.
3. Επιλέξτε ένα σημείο που δεν έχουν πρόσβαση παιδιά.
4. Επιλέξτε ένα σημείο του τοίχου, όπου μπορεί να αντέξει το βάρος και τους κραδασμούς της
μονάδας.
5. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι θα υπάρχει ικανός χώρος γύρω από τη μονάδα για την τακτική συντήρηση. Η
μονάδα πρέπει να βρίσκεται τουλάχιστον 250cm πάνω από το πάτωμα.
6. Επιλέξτε ένα σημείο τουλάχιστον 1m πάνω από την τηλεόραση ή άλλες ηλεκτρικές συσκευές.
7. Επιλέξτε ένα σημείο όπου το φίλτρο θα αφαιρείται εύκολα.
8. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι οι αποστάσεις που αναφέρονται στο παρόν εγχειρίδιο τηρούνται.
9. Μην χρησιμοποιείται τη συσκευή στο δωμάτιο πλυντηρίου, εσωτερικής πισίνας κλπ.
Εξωτερική Μονάδα
1. Επιλέξτε ένα σημείο όπου ο θόρυβος και ο αέρας της μονάδος δεν θα ενοχλεί τους γείτονες
2. Επιλέξτε ένα σημείο όπου υπάρχει επαρκής κυκλοφορία αέρα.
3. Επιλέξτε ένα σημείο όπου δεν υπάρχουν εμπόδια στην είσοδο και έξοδο του αέρα.
4. Επιλέξτε ένα σημείο όπου θα επαρκεί για να στηριχθεί το βάρος της μονάδας.
5. Επιλέξτε ένα σημείο ξηρό, μακριά από το απευθείας φως του ήλιου και τον δυνατό αέρα.
6. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι η μονάδα θα εγκατασταθεί βάσει των οδηγιών του παρόντος εγχειριδίου και
είναι εύκολη η συντήρηση και η επισκευή της.
7. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι η υψομετρική διαφορά μεταξύ εσωτερικής και εξωτερικής μονάδας είναι έως 5
μέτρα, ενώ το συνολικό μήκος σωληνώσεων έως 10 μέτρα.
8. Επιλέξτε ένα σημείο που δεν έχουν πρόσβαση παιδιά.
9. Επιλέξτε ένα σημείο που δεν δημιουργεί προβλήματα στη διέλευση των πεζών και την εμφάνιση
του κτιρίου.

Σημειώσεις για την Εγκατάσταση
Γενικές Προφυλάξεις για τις Ηλεκτρικές Συσκευές

1. Η παροχή ρεύματος πρέπει να χρησιμοποιεί την ονομαστική τάση και αποκλειστικό
κύκλωμα εναλλασσόμενου ρεύματος. Η διάμετρος του καλωδίου τροφοδοσίας πρέπει να
είναι ικανοποιητική.
2. Μην τεντώνεται και μην τραβάτε με δύναμη το καλώδιο.
3. Η συσκευή πρέπει να είναι κατάλληλα γειωμένη και συνδεδεμένη με την κεντρική γείωση
του κτιρίου.
4. Η απόσταση μεταξύ της συσκευής και μιας επιφάνειας καύσης πρέπει να είναι μεγαλύτερη
από 1,5m.
5. Η συσκευή πρέπει να εγκατασταθεί με βάση τους Διεθνείς κανονισμούς καλωδιώσεων
6. Ένας διακόπτης αποκοπής πρέπει να εγκατασταθεί με 3mm άνοιγμα επαφής σε όλους
τους πόλους. Για τις συσκευές με φις πρίζας βεβαιωθείτε ότι το φις θα είναι προσβάσιμο.
7. Ο ασφαλειοδιακόπτης πρέπει να είναι κατάλληλος για την αποφυγή βραχυκυκλώματος και
υπερφόρτισης.

Απαιτήσεις για τη Γείωση

1. Οι κλιματιστικές μονάδες είναι ηλεκτρικές συσκευές τύπου Ι. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι υπάρχει η
κατάλληλη γείωση
2. Το καλώδιο της γείωσης είναι το πράσινο-κίτρινο και δεν μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί για
άλλο σκοπό. Ακατάλληλη γείωση μπορεί να προκαλέσει ηλεκτροπληξία.
3. Η αντίσταση γείωσης πρέπει να είναι σύμφωνη με τους Ελληνικούς Κανονισμούς Ασφαλείας
Ηλεκτρικών Εγκαταστάσεων.
4. Η παροχή ισχύος πρέπει να έχει σύνδεση με την κατάλληλη γείωση του κτιρίου. Μην
συνδέεται το καλώδιο γείωσης με: σωληνώσεις νερού, σωληνώσεις φυσικού αερίου,
σωληνώσεις αποχέτευσης, ή άλλα σημεία που οι τεχνικοί θεωρούν επικίνδυνα.
5. Τα μοντέλα και η κατηγορία των ασφαλειών να συμφωνούν με τα αναγραφόμενα στις

Εγκατάσταση Βάσης Στήριξης

1. Η βάση στήριξης πρέπει να είναι σε οριζόντια θέση. Καθώς το στόμιο της απορροής της λε-
κάνης συμπυκνωμάτων βρίσκεται στην άκρη αυτής, η εσωτερική μονάδα πρέπει να έχει μία
ελαφριά κλίση, ώστε τα συμπυκνώματα να οδεύουν προς το στόμιο.
2. Βιδώστε την βάση στον τοίχο με βίδες.
3. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι η βάση έχει στηριχθεί καλά, ώστε να κρατήσει περίπου 60kg. Το βάρος αυτό
θα πρέπει να ισοκατανείμεται στις βίδες.

Ηλεκτρική σύνδεση Εσωτερικής – Εξωτερικής
1. Ανοίξτε την πρόσοψη της εσωτερικής μονάδας.

2. Αφαιρέστε το κάλυμμα των ηλεκτρικών συνδέσεων.
3. Περάστε το καλώδιο ισχύος και το καλώδιο επικοινωνίας (μόνο για τις μονάδες ψύξης/θέρμαν-
σης) μέσα από την τρύπα στο πίσω μέρος της μονάδας.
4. Συνδέστε το καλώδιο διασύνδεσης με την κλέμμα και μετά σφίξτε καλά τις βίδες της κλέμμας.
5. Επανεγκαταστήστε τη σύνδεση των καλωδιών και το κάλυμμα.

Εγκατάσταση Εξωτερικής Μονάδος
Ηλεκτρική καλωδίωση
1. Αφαιρέστε το κάλυμμα από τη δεξιά πλευρά χειρολαβή
της μονάδας.
2. Συνδέστε το καλώδιο ισχύος και αυτοματισμού
στην υποδοχή της πλακέτας. Προσέξτε να μπλέ κίτρινο-
μαυρό καφέ πράσινο
υπάρχει πλήρης αντιστοίχιση με την εσωτερική
μονάδα.
3. Στερεώστε τα καλώδια. σύνδεση
καλωδίου σφιγκτήρας
τροφοδοσίας καλωδίου
4. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το καλώδιο έχει συνδεθεί σωστά.
5. Επανεγκαταστήστε το κάλυμμα.

Εξαέρωση και Έλεγχος Διαρροών ΕΞΩΤΕΡΙΚΗΣ

1. Συνδέστε το στόμιο πλήρωσης του μανόμετρου
στην αναμονή χαμηλής πίεσης ( οι βαλβίδες υψη-
λής και χαμηλής πίεσης πρέπει να είναι κλειστές).
2. Συνδέστε το σωλήνα πλήρωσης στην αντλία κε-
νού. Σωλήνας τγρού
3. Ανοίξτε πλήρως το διακόπτη χαμηλής του μανό- Σωλήνας αερίου αντλία κενού
μετρου. καπάκια βαλβίδων
4. Ανοίξτε την αντλία κενού για εξαέρωση. Στην

αρχή χαλαρώστε λίγο τον σύνδεσμο χαμηλής, για
να ελέγξετε εάν υπάρχει αέρας. (Αν ο θόρυβος της
αντλίας αλλάξει, θα υπάρξει ένδειξη 0). Σφίξτε τον
σύνδεσμο.
5. Συνεχίστε να εξαερώνετε για περισσότερο από 15
λεπτά. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι η ένδειξη στην οθόνη είναι
-1.0Χ105 Pa (-76cmHg).
6. Ανοίξτε εντελώς τις βαλβίδες υψηλής και χαμη-
λής.
7. Αφαιρέστε το στόμιο πλήρωσης από τη βαλβίδα
χαμηλής.
8. Σφίξτε τη βίδα της βαλβίδας χαμηλής.
Αποχέτευση Εξωτερικής Μονάδας

Κατά την διάρκεια της λειτουργία Θέρμανσης, τα πα-
ραγόμενα συμπυκνώματα της εξωτερικής μονάδας
πρέπει να αποχετευτούν μέσω του αποχετευτικού

στομίου. Εγκαταστήστε το σύνδεσμο αποχέτευσης
Σύνδεσμος αποχέτευσης
εξωτερικής μονάδας στην οπή Φ25 στην βάση της

Πριν τον έλεγχο λειτουργίας

Μέθοδος Ελέγχου Λειτουργίας

1. Σηκώστε την ασφάλεια/διακόπτη του ρεύματος και πατήστε το πλήκτρο ON/OFF του
τηλεχειριστηρίου για να ξεκινήσει η λειτουργία.
2. Πιέστε το πλήκτρο MODE για να επιλέξετε COOL, HEAT ή FAN, ώστε να δείτε αν η λειτουργία
είναι κανονική ή μη.

1. Ανασηκώστε την πρόσοψη από τις δύο άκρες σύμφωνα

Συμπλήρωση ψυκτικού ελαίου (λιπαντικό του συμπιεστή) πρέπει να γίνεται όταν το μήκος των
σωληνώσεων είναι μεγαλύτερο από το ονομαστικό κατά 10 μέτρα, και συμπληρώνουμε 5ml για
κάθε 5 επιπλέον μέτρα.

Principio:
Il condizionatore assorbe il calore della stanza, lo trasmette e lo scarica all’esterno.
La capacità refrigerante aumenterà o diminuirà in funzione della temperatura esterna.
Funzione anti-gelo:
Se l’unità dovesse essere impostata sulla modalità FREDDO, quando la temperatura
esterna scende sotto 10° C il software dell’unità interna interrompe il funzionamento
dell’unità, proteggendo il compressore
Principio di funzionamento e funzioni speciali per il

riscaldamento
Principio:
Il condizionatore assorbe il calore dall’esterno e lo trasmette all’interno. In questo modo la
temperatura della stanza aumenta. Questo è il principio di funzionamento della pompa di
calore, con l’abbassamento della temperatura esterna la capacità riscaldante diminuisce.
Se la temperatura esterna si abbassa notevolmente, si prega di utilizzare altri apparecchi di
riscaldamento.
Sbrinamento:
Quando la temperatura esterna è bassa e l’umidità è elevata, dopo un periodo di funziona-
mento, si potrebbe formare del ghiaccio sull’unità esterna; A questo punto la funzione di
sbrinamento si attiva, arrestando momentaneamente la produzione di calore per 5-8 minuti.
Durante lo sbrinamento automatico, i motori delle ventole dell’unità interna ed esterna si
fermano, e dall’unità esterna può fuoriuscire vapore.
Questo fenomeno è dovuto allo sbrinamento e non è un’anomalia. Al termine dello sbrina-
mento, il riscaldamento riprenderà automaticamente.
Funzione anti raffreddamento:

In modalità Riscaldamento, se in una delle 3 seguenti lo scambiatore di calore interno non
raggiunge una determinata temperatura, il motore del ventilatore interno non entra in
funzione,
in modo da impedire flussi d’aria freddi (entro 2 min.):
1. Appena il riscaldamento è entrato in funzione. 2. Al termine dello sbrinamento. 3. In con-
dizioni di riscaldamento al di sotto della temperatura minima.
Flusso d’aria leggero

Nella seguente situazione l’unità interna crea un flusso d’aria leggero ed il flap ruota in una
determinata posizione:
1. In modalità Riscaldamento “Heat” durante l’accensione se non si ottengono le condizioni di
preriscaldamento.
2. In modalità Riscaldamento “Heat” quando la temperatura impostata è soddisfatta ed il
compressore si ferma per circa 1 minuto.

continua a funzionare per 2 minuti in modo da asciugare la batteria dell’unità interna quando
l’apparecchio viene spento.
Dopo la riaccensione, la funzione X FAN è spenta. questa funzione non è attiva nelle modalità
AUTO, FAN e HEAT (Riscaldamento). Nota: Le funzioni X FAN e BLOW sono la stessa funzione.
10 TEMP:
Premendo questo pulsante, è possibile vedere la temperatura impostata e la temperatura in-
terna. L’impostazione sul telecomando avviene circolarmente secondo il seguente schema:
Quando è selezionato “ “ sul telecomando o “no display”, la temperatura visualizzata sull’unità

interna è quella impostata con il telecomando. Quando è selezionato con il telecomando, la
temperatura visualizzata sull’unità interna è quella ambiente. 3secondi dopo o se nei seguenti
3 secondi viene ricevuto un’altro segnale dal telecomando, sull’unità interna viene visualizzata
la temperatura impostata.
Attenzione:
• Questo modello non ha la visualizzazione della temperatura esterna “ “
• Quando si accende l’unità, automaticamente viene visualizzata la temperatura impostata.
11 TIMER:
Premere il pulsante TIMER ad unità accesa (ON) per impostare il TIMER OFF; la scritta HOUR OFF
lampeggerà. Premere il pulsante TIMER ad unità spenta (OFF) per impostare il TIMER ON; la
scritta HOUR ON lampeggerà. In questo caso premendo i pulsanti + o - cambia l’ora impostata.
Tenere premuto uno dei due pulsanti per cambiare rapidamente l’ora impostata.
(l’impostazione è compresa tra 0.5 e 24 ore). Premere nuovamente il pulsante TIMER per con-
fermare l’impostazione; la scritta HOUR ON smetterà di lampeggiare. Se non ci sono impostazi-
oni entro 5 secondi durante il lampeggiamento della scritta HOUR ON/OFF, l’impostazione del
TIMER sarà cancellata.
12 TURBO:
Premere questo pulsante per attivare/disattivare la funzione TURBO per permettere
all’unità di raggiungere la temperatura impostata più velocemente. In Raffreddamento
(COOL) o Riscaldamento (HEAT), l’unità funzionerà automaticamente alla massima
velocità di ventilazione.

• Spegnere l’unità: Ad unità accesa, premere il pulsante per arrestare l’unità.

care scosse elettriche.
• Sostanze volatili (ad esempio diluenti o benzina) danneggiano il condizionatore. (Asciugare le
unità c on un panno morbido e asciutto, o con un panno leggermente inumidito con acqua o
detergente.)
Pulizia del pannello frontale

Per la pulizia del pannello frontale, immergere un panno in acqua a temperatura inferiore
a 45 °C, pulire e quindi asciugare utilizzando un panno asciutto.
Nota: Non immergere il pannello frontale in acqua, in quanto contiene componenti elettroniche.
Pulizia del filtro dell’aria

(si consiglia di effettuare questa operazione ogni mese)
1. Togliere il filtro dell’aria

Impugnare il pannello nelle apposite feritoie per aprirlo di
una certa angolazione, tirare il filtro verso il basso ed
estrarlo. Vedere la Fig. 4(a, b).

Per pulire la polvere dai filtri, utilizzare un aspirapolvere,
o lavare in acqua tiepida e detergente neutro a meno (Fig.b)
di 45°C) e far asciugare all’ombra.
NOTA: Mai utilizzare acqua a temperatura superiore a 45°C,
per non causare deformazione o perdita di colore. Mai
asciugare con una fiamma, possono verificarsi incendi o
deformazioni.
3. Inserire il filtro dell’aria

Reinserire il filtro seguendo la direzione della freccia
e riporre il coperchio e fissarlo.

1. Assicurarsi che nessun oggetto ostruisca le ventole di uscita ed
entrata dell’aria.
2. Assicurarsi che il cavo di massa sia correttamente collegato.
3. Assicurarsi che le batterie del condizionatore siano state

4. Accertarsi che il supporto dell’unità esterna non sia
danneggiato. Altrimenti, rivolgersi al fornitore.
Manutenzione dopo l’uso

1. Togliere l’alimentazione.
2. Pulire il filtro e le unità interna ed esterna.
3. Eliminare polvere e ostruzioni dall’unità esterna.
4. Riverniciare i punti arrugginiti presenti sull’unità esterna onde prevenire l’estensione del
fenomeno.
5. Utilizzare un riparo appropriato per coprire l’unità esterna, evitare che pioggia o polvere en-
trino nell’unità e formino ruggine.

1. L’opera di installazione dell’unità deve essere eseguita da personale qualificato in base alle
norme locali e al presente manuale.
2. Prima dell’installazione, rivolgersi al centro assistenza autorizzato. Se l’unità non è installata
dal centro di assistenza autorizzato, le anomalie non possono essere risolte a causa di contatti
problematici.
3. Quando si intende spostare l’unità in un altro posto, contrattare innanzitutto il centro di as-
sistenza autorizzato locale.
4. L’apparecchio deve essere posizionato in modo che la presa elettrica sia accessibile.
Requisiti di base per la posizione di installazione

Installare l’unità nei seguenti luoghi potrebbe provocare malfunzionamenti. Se fosse inevitabile
si prega di contattare il centro assistenza:
• Luoghi in cui sono presenti forti fonti di calore, vapori, gas infiammabili o sostanze volatili.
• Luoghi in cui sono generate onde ad alta frequenza da apparecchi radio, saldatori e dispositivi
medici.
• Luoghi in cui è presente una forte salinità, come le zone costiere.
• Luoghi in cui l’aria contiene oli (olio motore).
• Luoghi con alta presenza di gas sulfurei, come fonti termali.
• Altri luoghi particolari.
Scelta del luogo per l’installazione dell’unità esterna

1. La bocchetta di entrata e di uscita dell’aria deve essere distante da ostruzioni, assicurarsi che
l’aria possa circolare in tutta la stanza.
2. Scegliere una posizione che consenta all’acqua di condensa di essere facilmente scaricata e
all’unità esterna di essere facilmente connessa.
3. Scegliere un luogo non raggiungibile da bambini.
4. Scegliere possibilmente un luogo che regga il peso e le vibrazioni dell’unità senza aumentare
il rumore.
5. Accertarsi che vi sia spazio sufficiente per accedere alle operazioni di manutenzione ordinaria.
L’altezza dell’installazione deve essere di 250 cm o più dal suolo.
6. Scegliere una posizione ad almeno 1 m di distanza dal televisore o da ogni altro elettrodo-
mestico.
7. Selezionare una posizione in cui sia facile estrarre il filtro.
8. Assicurarsi che l’installazione dell’unità interna segua i requisiti dello schema delle dimensioni
di installazione.
9. Non utilizzare l’unità nei pressi di un locale lavanderia, di una doccia o di una piscina.
Scelta del luogo per l’installazione dell’unità interna

1. Scegliere un luogo i cui l’emissione di rumore o aria non causino disturbo ai vicini, ad animali
o piante.
2. Scegliere un luogo con una ventilazione sufficiente.
3. Scegliere un luogo dove non ci sia la presenza di ostruzioni che coprano la bocchetta di en-
trata e di uscita.
4. Il luogo scelto deve reggere il peso e le vibrazioni dell’unità esterna e deve consentire un in-
stallazione di sicurezza.
5. Scegliere un luogo asciutto, ma non esporre alla luce diretta del sole o a vento forte.
6. Assicurarsi che le dimensioni dell’installazione dell’unità esterna siano in accordo con lo sche-
ma delle dimensioni dell’installazione, adatto a manutenzione e riparazioni.
7. La differenza di altezza per la connessione della tubatura non deve superare i 5 m, la differenza
di lunghezza non deve superare i 10 m.
8. Scegliere un luogo fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
9. Scegliere un luogo in cui l’unità non blocchi il passaggio e non interferisca con il paesaggio
urbano.

Avvertenze per l’installazione
Requisiti di sicurezza per apparecchi elettrici

1. L’erogazione di energia deve utilizzare il voltaggio stabilito e circuito esclusivo AC, il diametro
del cavo dell’alimentatore deve soddisfare i requisiti.
2. Non tirare con forza il cavo di alimentazione.
3. Il condizionatore deve essere fornito di messa a terra sicura. Il cavo di messa a terra deve essere
collegato all’apposito dispositivo di messa a terra e l’operazione deve essere eseguita da per-
sonale specializzato. L’interruttore d’aria deve essere dotato delle funzioni di scatto magnetico
e a calore per proteggere l’unità da corto circuiti e sovraccarichi.
4. La distanza minima tra l’unità e una superficie combustibile deve essere di 1,5 m.
5. L’apparecchio deve essere installato conformemente alle norme nazionali in materia di cablag-
gio.
6. Si consiglia di collegare saldamente un interruttore onnipolare con separazione di contatti di
almeno 3 mm in tutti i poli.

1. Il condizionatore è un dispositivo di classe I, pertanto deve essere dotato di messa a terra af-
fidabile.
2. I cavi di colore giallo-verde presenti nel condizionatore sono cavi di messa a terra e non pos-
sono pertanto essere utilizzati per altri scopi. I cavi non devono assolutamente essere tagliati
e fissati con viti, altrimenti possono verificarsi scosse elettriche.
3. La resistenza della messa a terra deve risultare conforme alle norme nazionali.
4. La corrente utilizzata deve offrire un terminale di massa affidabile. Non collegare il cavo di
massa con:
1. tubatura dell’acqua. 2. tubatura del gas. 3. tubo di scarico.

1. Il montaggio della piastra deve essere effettuato orizzontalmente. Dato che l’uscita della vaschet-
ta dell’acqua dell’unità interna è bidirezionale, l’unità interna dovrebbe essere inclinata legger-
mente verso il basso per facilitare lo svuotamento dell’acqua di condensa dalla vaschetta.
2. Fissare la staffa di fissaggio al muro con delle viti.
3. Accertarsi che la staffa di fissaggio sia ancorata saldamente in modo da sostenere circa 60 kg. Il

Nell’eseguire il collegamento del cavo elettrico, se la lunghezza del cavo non fosse

provocare il malfunzionamento degli elementi.

3. Appendere le scanalature di sostegno dell’unità
interna sulle linguette superiori presenti nella
piastra di fissaggio e verificare se il tubo è suffi-
cientemente fermo. (Come indicato nella Fig. 9)
4. Il luogo di installazione deve essere ad almeno
250 cm dal suolo.

1. Allineare il centro del dado del tubo con la rela-
tiva valvola.
2. Avvitare il dado a mano e quindi serrare con
chiave e chiave dinamometrica, facendo riferi-
mento alla tabella seguente:

NOTA: Il giunto va collegato prima all’unità interna e poi all’unità esterna; fare attenzione
alla curvatura del tubo per evitare di danneggiarlo; Non stringere troppo il dado del giunto,
altrimenti potrebbe provocare perdite.

Installazione dell’unità externa
Cablaggio elettrico
1. Smontare la maniglia sul lato destro dell’unità esterna.
2. Rimuovere il serrafilo. Collegare e fissare il cavo elettri- Maniglia

3. Fissare il cavo elettrico di connessione con il serrafilo.
4. Assicurarsi che il cavo sia stato fissato bene. blu giallo-

4. Aprire la pompa del vuoto per iniziare il vuoto del cir-
cuito. In un primo momento allentare leggermente
il dado del giunto della valvola a bassa pressione per
verificare l’effettivo passaggio dell’aria. (Se il rumore
della pompa del vuoto è cambiato, il multimetro indica
0). Quindi serrare di nuovo il dado.
5. Eseguire lo spurgo per più di 15 minuti fino a che la
lettura del multimetro è -1.0x105 pa (-76 cmHg).
6. Aprire completamente le valvole ad alta e bassa pres-
sione.
7. Rimuovere la tubazione di carico dall’estremità di cari-
co della valvola a bassa pressione.
8. Richiudere bene il coperchio della valvola a bassa pres-
sione. (Come indicato nella Fig.10)
Drenaggio della condensa esterna (solo per

unità a pompa di calore)
Quando l’unità sta scaldando, l’acqua di condensa e l’acqua
di sbrinamento saranno scaricate in sicurezza dal tubo di
scarico. Metodo di installazione: Installare il tubo a gomito
dello scarico esterno in un foro da 25 sulla base del conteni-
tore e collegare il raccordo di scarico al gomito in modo tale
che le acque di scarico che si formano nell’unità esterna pos-
sano essere scaricate nel contenitore appropriato.

Funzionamento di prova
1. Prima del test
(1). Non accendere l’unità prima di aver terminato l’installazione.
(2). Il cablaggio elettrico deve essere installato completamente e in sicurezza.
(3). Le valvole di arresto dei tubi di collegamento dovrebbero essere aperte.
(4). Tutte le impurità, come residuati e fili devono essere rimosse dall’unità.
2. Metodo di esecuzione del test
(1). Collegare l’unità all’alimentazione, premere il pulsante “ON/OFF” del telecomando per
metterla in funzione.
(2). Premere il tasto MODE per selezionare le modalità COOL, HEAT (l’unità solo raffredda-
mento non è disponibile), FAN per verificare se l’unità funziona correttamente.

Installazione e manutenzione del filtro purificatore
Istruzioni per l’installazione

1. Afferrare le due estremità del pannello frontale
e tirare con forza seguendo la direzione
delle frecce. Quindi tirarlo verso il basso per
rimuoverlo. (Vedere Fig. a)
2. Montare il filtro purificatore sul filtro dell’aria,
(come indicato nella Fig. b). Se questo non
è possibile, installare il filtro purificatore nel
guscio anteriore. (come indicato nella Fig.c)
3. Reinstallare il filtro dell’aria correttamente, seguendo
la direzione delle frecce riportata nella
Fig. d, quindi chiudere il pannello frontale.
Prima della pulizia rimuovere il filtro purificatore, una volta conclusa l’operazione
reinstallarlo seguendo le istruzioni per l’installazione. Attenzione: i filtri agli ioni d’argento
non possono essere lavati con acqua,ì, mentre i filtri a carboni attivi, i fotocatalizzatori,
i catalizzatori a basa temperatura (LTC), i filtri antformaldeide, i filtri alla
catechina o antiacaro possono essere lavati con acqua, ma senza utilizzare spazzole
o oggetti ruvidi. Dopo la pulizia far asciugare all’ombra o al sole, ma non strofinare.
Durata del filtro

Generalmente, in condizioni normali il filtro purificatore ha una durata d’utilizzo
di un anno. Per quanto riguarda i filtri agli ioni d’argento invece, vanno considerati
inservibili quando la superficie diventa nera (verde).
• Queste istruzioni supplementari si riferiscono solo alle unità dotate di filtro
purificatore. L’aspetto del prodotto reale può differire da quello delle illustrazioni
qui riprodotte. per conoscere il dettaglio sul numero di filtri purificatori presenti, si
prega di fare riferimento al prodotto reale.

4. Metodo di calcolo della carica aggiuntiva dopo il prolungamento delle tubazioni del refriger-

Nel caso la tubazione standard sia di 5m, se la tubazione del refrigerante è di 10m, si deve aggiun-
gere del refrigerante per 5m.
Metodo di calcolo (in funzione dl diametro del tubo del liquido)
1. Carica aggiuntiva = lunghezza aggiuntiva (oltre la lunghezza
standard) x carica di refrigerante per ogni metro
2. La carica aggiuntiva (oltre i 5 metri) si calcola in funzione del
diametro del tubo del liquido (vedi Tabella 2).
