POSTER GUIDELINE ASMIUA 2017

Please take a few minutes to read the poster guideline.

OVERALL RULE

1. All participants must be registered for ASMIUA

The deadline of registration is November 3rd 2017. However, after this
date, presenting authors who have not paid their registration fees will be
excluded from the program as well as from the program. No exception will
be granted.

2. Bring your poster to the meeting. (For UNMODERATED POSTER only)

You do need to bring your own poster to Yogyakarta. Your poster’s board
code will be announced on the poster announcement board. Please mount
your poster on the board assigned to you at the latest on November 9th
2017 at 07.00. Your poster should be removed by the end of the session in
November 11th 2017 at 13.00. An abstract presenter must attend the whole
session in which he/she is scheduled.

IUA – POSTER GUIDELINE

1. All posters will be provided with a poster boards and double tapes. Staples,
glue, paste or nails to attach the poster to the poster board are NOT allowed.
2. All posters should be created in size of 120 (height) x 90 (width) cm.
3. All posters should be written in proper English.
4. Your poster should follow an easy to understand format i.e. abstract
introduction & objectives, material & methods, results and conclusion.
5. Title of the presentation and its author and institution should be positioned
at the TOP of the poster.

 6. You can use block lettering for other portion of your presentation to add
emphasis and readability.
7. Make sure you do NOT place table or figures with small letter font. Keep in
mind that your illustration must be read from a distance of about 1 meter or
more.
8. Please use matte (silk) finish for photographs as this will diminish glare.

IUA - MODERATED POSTER SESSION

1. If your poster has been chosen as a moderated poster, you are requested to
provide a power point presentation (max 5 slides) and send it to the
scientific committee (scientific.asmiua2017@gmail.com) before the
deadline of November 6th 2017.
2. You have to present your abstract in poster oral discussion session
(November 10th 14.00 -17.00) at the designated room.
3. Presenter should be ready in the designated room at fifteen minutes prior to
presentation time.
4. Each abstract presenter has 5 minutes to present his/her abstract and 2
minutes for discussion, while each video presenter has 7 minutes to present
his/her abstract and 2 minutes for discussion.
Presentation and discussion should be delivered in good and proper English
