1. Re: trial period- we counter-propose that the trial period be extended to 6 months
instead of the originally proposed 3-month period. We believe that 3 months is a
very short period to assess competency of tutors as they must first become familiar
with the AcadSoc online prompters, web account and commands among others.
On the part AcadSoc, you will likewise be given ample time to assess stability of
internet connection, internet speed, progress in terms of student retention,
feedback and managerial skills on the part of the administrative personnel. The
service provider will likewise be reassured that assets, investments and expenses
related to operations will be properly compensated. This is still business after all;

2. Re: hourly rate- we counter-propose that tutor’s hourly rate be fixed at a specific
amount (say for example-200 per hour) during the trial period and will be
subjected to a progressive and pro-rata adjustment depending on their lesson
scores and student feedback at the end of the trial period and in case of re-
contract;

3. We also counter-propose that Philippine holidays be included in the number of

hours required. Based on experience, tutors are even more motivated to work
considering that they will be entitled to holiday among other. AcadSoc will not
concern itself about the changing hourly rate as affected by holidays. The fixed
hourly rate will be pro-ratably adjusted by the service provider through the tutor
manager as previously discussed;

4. We likewise counter-propose that payment be made by mid-month and by the end

of the month subject to review of the statement of account 3-5 days before said
schedule;

5. We agree on the imposition of deductions but only after submission of lesson

assessment report or class evaluation feedback by students. Recording devices
may be installed to ensure proper evaluation. Deductions may likewise be done
based on final findings of absence of internet connection or unstable internet
connection which totally disrupted classes and resulted to lesson cancellations;
and

6. We are convinced and is completely agreeable with the proposed satisfactory

student rating bonus. We however recommend that such bonus be applicable only
after the successful completion of the trial period. That would already be an
advantage to AcadSoc. Instead, we reiterate our preference with a fixed
hourly rate for tutors within the trial period (say for example: 200 x 4hours
x 30tutors=24,000 per week day and or 200 x 12hours x 30 tutors=72,000 per
Saturday and Sunday).
