Dispositional Goal Setting Name: Lauren Hartley

Signed by co-ordinator prior to implementation (or Tuesday Teacher). (It is appropriate

to give your co-ordinator and relevant classroom teacher/s a copy of your goal).

Goal (SMART). State in one sentence.

To appropriately manage classroom behaviour at this age level.

Rationale: Why has the goal been selected?

 It is important to be able to manage the behaviour effectively in a classroom in
order to keep a classroom running effectively
 Some students require more behaviour management.
 I previously worked with year 2’s and year 4 /5’s behaviour management is
quite different in an intermediate class.
 My AT already has established what works in this class so important to provide
continuity. She believes that this particular class doesn’t deal well with change
so sticking mainly with what works for her will be important.

Action Plan: What do I need to do specifically to achieve this goal?

Action Plan Steps: (what, how, when Evaluation: How will I evaluate my

evidence can I provide to show how well
