Major strengths:The environment in this class is one of mutual respect and caring. Students are familiar
with the routines and expectations and live up to them. They are able to self monitor and are gently guided
to modify their behaviour if needed. The level of ownership for their own learning is impressive for
students so young. The routines are well established!

OVERALL IMPRESSIONS

Meagan uses a gentle approach to guide children to change their behaviour. While doing with an individual
running record with a student, Meagan is kind, supportive and celebrates the students success. The student
is clearly motivated and feels encouraged.
Areas for development:

In discussion, Meagan feels that she would like to work on the plenary/closure of lessons. Giving students
the opportunity to reflect on their learning.
