Step by step procedure for applying in Germany

1. Complete your Educational Documents and attest these by respective, for e.g matric and inter
from IBBC and Bachelors (graduation) from HEC/PEC.
2. Secure at least 6.0 overall bands in IELTS, (some universities required 6.5 bands)
3. Some universities also Required GRE, but mostly don’t requires.
4. Take photocopies of these attested documents and go civic center for NOTARY PUBLIC Stamp on
these , make 5 set for copies to send in different Universities.
5. Find out your Program on DAAD

6. Apply in University website if online application is opened, above 80% University accept
Application forms through Uni-Assist so,
7. Register on UNI-ASSIST and add your course in uni-assist which you found in DAAD , and upload
documents on Uni-assist and also courier them the notary public documents , uni-assist charges
75euro for 1st application (for the first University) , and 15euro for each after first (2nd,3rd,4th ..).

8. When admission will receive, take appointment of next 2-3 month dates.
9. After you get admission from University ,print that admission letter and form of DB account and
fill it, take it to German Consulate/embassy for attestation(it will take 1-2 days) and then attach
the bank statement having amount above 8640Euro or equivalent currency send this by Post to
Deutsche Bank to Open DB-Account (it will take a week to get a mail)
10. Mean While open FC-account in Pakistani bank , (MCB or Al-Habib) or whatever ,after you get
email ,having IBAN no of your account, Send 8640 Euro (blocking amount ) + 150(DB-activation
charges) + 50(extra for FC-transfer charges).
11. After 4-6 Days you will get email for amount received in Germany Account, then take a print out
of email and LONG-Term Visa Application form (Download from Embassy Site given on Top) then
go to Embassy/Consulate for Interview.
12. After 4-6 Week You will get Your Visa Confirmation mail. (Some time you get 2nd year expense
call its very rare , but then you have to deposit more 8k euro in your account but that will not be
block you can withdraw these after activation of account after reaching Germany).
13. Take Tickets Reservation and Travel Insurance of 6months (check requirements from embassy
site).
