The Detailed Design of a performance campaign intervention includes information from all documents previously compiled. It also specifies the production parameters and quality guidelines for department(s) involved in its creation. The importance or the high-profile of a performance campaign does not imply the intervention need to be complex. The main goal of the detail design is to ensure consistency in the process of implementing the intervention(s).

Purpose
Ideally, Junior Paramedics develop self-
competent stress management strategies. To
facilitate the development of expertise in
dealing with stress, the EMSy app will
accomplish 3 main Features:
Serve as a Journal for Junior Paramedics to
record and track their stress management
strategies.
Benefits: customized entry and tracking of data
entered by users
Provide a method of collaboration in a non-
hierarchical environment between Junior
Paramedics and their colleagues, including
supervisors
Benefits: Comments and posts shared to the
Facebook group or generated inside the app are
indexed and tagged to be readily accessible to
users
Develop a community of practice who adds.
stress management strategies to serve as
reference for Paramedics
Benefits: The user content generated by the
App is based both on digital media resources
(shared websites, blogs, videos) as well as on
Paramedics’ actual context
Contributors
The idea for the EMSy App came about after
interviews with former Junior Paramedics - they
have successfully completed their 6 months.
probation period and were more than
share their notes and strategies about stress
management and their experiences trying to
share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the
Paramedics professions.
An Advanced Care Paramedic, who has been a
supervisor For most of their career and is now
teaching in CEGEP, served as a Subject Matter
Expert on Paramedics tasks, daily environmental
constraints associated with the job, as well as
issues in stress management they identified in
their student population.
EMSY Users
The App is designed having in mind Junior
Paramedics as the main users. However, as
evidence by the needs analysis conducted prior
to prototyping EMSy, the need for building a
community of practice centered around
developing stress management expertise entails
additional performers, from seasoned
Paramedics colleagues and supervisors, to
Paramedics who go through stressful
interventions regardless of stress management.
expertise.
By designing EMSy for different levels of
performance, from users new to self-reflection
and sharing of strategies, to users familiar with
journaling and note-taking practices for stress
relief and gaining expertise, the App provides
similar benefits of stress reduction for any
Paramedics willing to improve their stress
management performance.
