Modern distribution centers with automatic
storage and conveyor technology systems require
a high investment volume. To ensure maximal
return on investment, the performance of the
technical equipment needs to be utilized to its
full capacity. This is a task for the material flow
system (EWM MFS). Optimization strategies such
as the dynamic selection of the optimal transport
route, the creation of double cycles, dynamic
transport destination allocation, and the creation
of sequences of partial tasks are standard
functions of the SAP Material Flow System (SAP
MFS) and ensure efficient and powerful material
flow in highly automated systems. inconso‘s
visualization system that is integrated in SAP gives
a precise overview of the situation in the plant and
shows critical plant conditions and disruptions
early.
The mapping of the complete business logic by
SAP MFS software solutions is state-of-the-art.
During this process, the PLC level is accessed
directly in SAP EWM MFS. This greatly increases
flexibility for later process modifications, since
you only need to carry them out in SAP EWM
MFS and not in the subordinate control systems.
In modern automated warehouse systems, you

associated with the cutover in automation
projects. Short project run times and the
increasing complexity in warehouse and material
flow systems increase the risk of plants not being
fully operational at the planned time of use. If the
interaction of the various components with the

tested under real plant conditions and at nearly full
capacity with a material flow simulation, problems
often do not arise until after the implementation
phase or after operational use has begun. Only
early interface testing conducted under real facility
conditions to the greatest extent possible can
remedy this.

Via a central dashboard, piece goods, partial load
