Explain the process of water-proofing of flat, accessible terrace slab, for a first class quality repair work of old building. (40) Q2. AMS, staircase isto be provided from inside to give an access to this terrace which is at 3M height, from the plinth. Necessary alteration are to be suggested to the existing M.S. terrace floor for provision of staircase. a) Draw plan and section to show the existing M.S. framed structure with existing MS.double floor including required alteration inthe floor design for the provision of M.S. staircase to give an access to the proposed covered: terrace with roof in M.S. tubular structure and A.C. roofing scale 1:20. , (20) b) Detail at the junction of the altered terrace floor and proposed M.S.
