On October 13, 2017, [HEHE] Jcontacted the OIG regarding
medical equipment stolen from the Cleveland VA Medical Center (VAMC).
(PAG}98 USC. S707: NE) traveled to the Cleveland VAMC on
“october 1Z,ZUTT, 16 Nave Tis BOSTON SceNtIiG (BS) bone stimulator medical devices
repaired.

On October 13, 2017,[(@EH@XTEL Interviewed [__——J who confirmed he was
bringing in his bone stimulator for repair to the Cleveland VAMC and accidentally left the
device inside of a bag in the VAMC.

On October 13, 2017 |(O)(6)(bN7KC) located MCCAULEY walking on a sidewalk near
his residence in East Cleveland, MCCAULEY admitted he stole the bone
stimulator from the Cleveland VAMC. MCCAULEY signed an OIG consent search form
and the stolen property was recovered from his residence. The stolen VA property
assigned to[()(6)6)7) found in MCCAULEY's residence totaled $9,120.
ENETONTNCY accepted this investigation for criminal prosecution.
