A first read and second read Creativity book put in Asian languages.

This is a translation into Japanese by a Tokyo University literature grad, of all 128 Steps--64 steps
to becoming a creator, and 64 steps to creating. The same content is available in English in a 4
book series--CREATING CREATORS, volumes 1, 2, 3, and 4. Those 4 books and the above one Jap-
anese version book BOTH contain steps, how cultures of the USA and Japan help and hinder them,
how educatedness helps and hinders them, and MANGA by a great USA designer who is Japanese--
SAYOKO YOSHIDA. This book was used in Keio University for many years and at various Japan
located corporations.

This is a DUAL LANGUAGE BOOK with different languages on facing pages. That way you can com-
pare the translation into Chinese with the English original. The book has a core of a model of 42
models of creativity and 8 of those expanded in great detail and 2 more models beyond the 42. In
addition 1100 questions from a questionnaire given to over 8000 eminent creators in 63 fields and
41 nations as part of the EXCELLENCE SCIENCE Research Project are found as the last 1/3 of this
book. The book was used in annual seminars at Beijing University in recent years.

These books are NOT about creativity per se. They are also not
normal treatments of excellence, effectiveness, top thinking ways,
training specific brain modules. They are MORE COMPREHENSIVE
than other books on these topics. Power in life comes not from a
few tools for great accomplishment, but for broad and deep reper-
toires allowing such deeds in many diverse situations for many
diverse goals to attain. They are MORE DETAILED than other
treatments of these topics--with step by step instructions and
examples. They are MORE UPDATED, taken from people IN
PRESENT CIRCUMSTANCES at the top--hence doing new and old
familiar mental/social operations in more computational, bio-logic,
evolutionary, global ways.

We use these books as a periphery in our CREATIVITIY LEADS

undergrad program of 104 courses to CONTRAST what creativity
requires and does with what effectiveness and mere mental capa-
bility require and do. This is enormously helpful for students.
They come to us constantly confusing effectiveness/impact and
creativity. They come to us via schools pointed ONLY towards
effectivness of the corporate robot-pseudo-human employee/man-
ager/leader sort--pretty much the opposite along all dimensions, of
who and what creators are. These books allow us to comprehen-
sively and in great detail, constantly distinguish corporate effec-
tiveness aims and ways from creations that lead entire fields and
all history in new directions aim and ways.

This whole idea, of this page’s books, of distinguishing

corporate effectiveness from creativity dynamics is vastly
more important and powerful than anyone treats it today.
So much is said and written and rewarded about good boy
corporate obedience and venal products of little worth and
no real purpose except enriching nearly dead “sharehold-
ers” so they can bequeath more luxurious cocaine treat-
ment programs to their grandkids--that nearly ALL of our
media and society and heros are pushing us all AWAY from
creativity. So this page is a NEGATIVE ROUTE to creativity-
-it is kinds of impact and power that WILL NEVER MAKE YOU
CREATIVE AND INSTEAD WILL MOST LIKELY PREVENT YOU
EVER BEING CREATIVE.
