SCHOOL ADMINSTRATOR

 Responsible for the oversight and implementation of all board policies, procedures, and directives
governing the operation of the school, according to the direction and approval of the BOT;
 Sets the direction and strategy for the school;
 Manages the fiscal and asset resources of the school;
 Will regularly make the BOT aware of pertinent information related to the respective school plans,
programs and activities
 Facilitates organizational efficiency and the effective management of the people systems of the
school
 Encourages the shared governance of the school through constant collaboration with the School
Student Council (SGC), Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), and other internal stakeholders of the
school;
 Leads in the collaboration of the school with external partners, stakeholders and the Local
Government Unit (LGU);
 Reports to the Board of Trustees

DIRECTOR FOR FINANCE

 Prepares a school budget which will adequately support school programs;


 Oversees the ordering and purchasing of materials, supplies, and equipment;
 Supervises student activity accounts;
 Meets with team leaders to develop a building budget;
 Develops long range plans to address building needs;
 Responsible for overseeing the financial management of the school, including: accounts payable,
account receivable, payroll and monthly deposits and in assisting in the development of the school
budget;
 Provide financial and budgetary reports at regular intervals to the BOT as required; and
 Reports to the School Administrator.

DIRECTOR FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS

 Coordinate and evaluate the curriculum in accordance with the district curriculum policy;
 Monitors and assesses the school curriculum and its implementation, including the approval of
teacher assignments, loading, and class programs;
 Makes recommendations to the BOT regarding the program offerings of the school;
 Leads in the creation and implementation of standards for teacher and student behavior
 Implements and monitors the use and updating of the Learner Information System (LIS) and
Enhanced Basic Education Information System (EBEIS);
 Develops strategies towards the continuous improvement of the school’s learning outcomes
 Assumes leadership in the planning, preparation, and delivery of the instructional programs for
the strands and subjects; and
 Reports to the School Administrator.

PRINCIPAL (WITH THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL)

 Screens, interviews, and recommends employment and contractual status of staff;


 Supervises and implements all academic programs of the school;
 Monitors and assesses the delivery of the school curriculum, ensuring the holistic development
of learners across all tracks, strands, and subjects;
 Makes integrated recommendations regarding class assignment of teachers, loading and class
programs to the School Administrator;
 Coaches and mentors the teaching staff of the school;
 Implements the strategy towards the continuous improvement of the school’s learning outcomes
 Evaluates and supervises all personnel;
 Be responsible for scheduling and conducting regular staff meetings;
 Makes final decision on suspension of students;
 Directs the release of information of the school through appropriate communication techniques;
 Assess the general conditions and needs of the building and grounds and reports same to
appropriate support staff;
 Works with custodial and maintenance staff to insure the proper cleanliness, repair and safety of
the building and grounds; and
 Reports to the School Administrator.

REGISTRAR
 Receives, updates and maintains the records, reports and documents of the school, its staff and
learners;
 Manages and updates the Learner Information System (LIS);
 Ensures an efficient process of registration and enrollment;
 Facilitates the process of releasing records of the school, staff and learners to the necessary
institutions; and
 Reports to the Principal

SCHOOL LIBRARIAN

 Responsible for the overall management of the school library;


 Ensures efficient and effective access to learning resources for individual teachers and students,
as well as scheduled visits by class groups;
 Monitors the use of the library;
 Coordinates with the designated property custodian as well as the Principal for the selection,
acquisition, organization and maintenance of reference and reading materials; and
 Reports to the Principal.

GUIDANCE COUNSELOR

 Provides and implements guidance and counseling services for the learners of the schools within
a division, which includes counseling, psychological testing, learning and study orientation,
research, and career guidance and advocacy; and
 Reports to the Principal.

SCHOOL NURSE

 Provides health and nutrition services to the schools within a division;


 Assists in the implementation of the school’s health and nutrition program; and
 Reports to the Principal

JANITOR

 Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.


 Gather and empty trash.
 Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
 Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
 Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and
squeegees.
 Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
 Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, and electrical
systems.
 Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating
hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
 Notify superiors concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
 Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
 Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare
facilities for school events such as programs and meetings.
 Reports to the Principal
