Common Regulation

1. Regulation 23 : Conduct of Registered Engineer

 Every registred eng shall at all time uphold dignity, high standing and reputation of
his profesion
2. Regulation 24: Responsibility to employer, client or profession

9. Regulation 32: Restriction on being a director, member or shareholder of contracting and
manufacturing company

shareholder in or agent for any contracting
 If approval given, that eng shall not undertake any contract work whre he is engage
to provide professional service in such project unless it is in respect of design and
build
10. Regulation 33: Disclosure of interest
 Eng shall inform to his client if he is director/member/substantial shareholder in
agent or involve in business which has financial interest with company/firm or
business which have related to his client

 Type 2: Offender registed eng or ECP: disciplinary case

Common offence

1. Unregistered eng shall not take or carry business which required to perform professional eng
services
2. No prson shall use tittle Ir. Or P.Eng or describe himself or hold out any name by the tittle
unless he is Professional Eng
3. No person shall, unless he is PE use or display sign,board, card that representing or implying
he is PE
4. no person or body other than PE or ECP shall submit plan, eng survey,drawing,
scheme,proposal to any person or authority

regulations by professional.

PSP- Principle submitting person

 Professional Architect(Ar.) /Professional Civil ENG(Ir.)

 Depend on type of project
 Duties :
o Prepare and present planning and buildings plan to PBT for approval
o Inform PBT of commencement of construction works on site
o Supervise construction work at site and ensure law followed
o Report building breach, explain reason and ensure breach is rectified
o Issue CCC upon sastifactory completion of work
o Submit a copy of CCC to PBT and BEM/BAM within 14 days of issue
