LEARNING OBJECTIVES : By the end of the lesson, the pupils will be able to:
1) spell out words they have learned in the previous lessons.
2) ask their friends in groups about their names and ages.

i. PRE-LESSON : PRE-LESSON TASK 1: WORK OUT THE WORDS
Introduce and teach the fixed phrase How do you spell….?
ii. LESSON DEVELOPMENT : 1. In groups of 5-6, pupils do a survey of names, ages, and ask how to spell their
classmates’ names.
2. In pairs, they draw their friend and write about him/her. Example:
 Lukman/Mira.
 He’s/She is seven years old.
 He/She likes purple.
3. Pupils put their work on the wall to create a class profile.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES : By the end of the lesson, the pupils will be able to:
Listen and talk about various occupation correctly related to the topic ‘People around
me’.

4. Teacher plays a song. Pupils pass a box which contains strips of papers
(different kind of occupations).
5. When the music stops, the pupils holding the box will come in front and act
out the occupation they get.
6. Other pupils guess the correct answer.
