ASINTOTA VERTICAL
Una función f(x) tiene asíntota vertical x = a si se verifica que lim 𝑓(𝑥) = ∞

• Logarítmicas: Las posibles asíntotas son los valore de x que hacen el argumento
(lo de dentro) cero. Ej: ln(𝑥 + 3) posible asíntota vertical x = - 3
ASINTOTA HORIZONTAL
Una función f(x) tiene a y = a como asíntota horizontal si se verifica que lim 𝑓(𝑥) = 𝑎

Una función f(x) tiene asíntota y = mx + n si existen y son finitos los siguientes límites

Las funciones que tienen asíntota vertical son las fracciones cuando el grado del
𝑥 3 −2𝑥 2 +1
numerador es un grado mayor que el grado del denominador. Ej: 𝑓(𝑥) = tiene
𝑥 2 −1
Asíntotas verticales

2º Método: Una función f(x) tiene asíntota y = mx + n si existen y son finitos los
siguientes límites
