Viibe Productions is putting on it’s very first ‘BeCreative’ Moving Image Festival

BeCreative Moving Image Festival is open to all Creative Media 2nd year students.
This event will be taking place over the winter period, inviting individuals or
production teams to submit a selection of short films, stop motion and music videos
for a particular audience.

You must first pick a target audience

5 – 12 year olds 25 – 40 Year olds

Then you must pick 2 productions to produce for that target audience

How do you win? Rules and Regulations

What you must submit:

 A detailed and creative brief must be submitted before production


 A detailed research booklet on chosen target audience
 Research on the codes and conventions of your chosen mediums
 Two planning and production booklets
 Two productions which highlight chosen skill
 Recorded viewing and pitch
 Evaluation and reflective diary on how you have met target audience needs
by using the correct codes and conventions of your medium.

The winner will be decided not on quality but on work ethic, attitude and desire
to learn and improve skills. The winner for the £50 will be decided by
‘BeCreative’

There will also be a category competition based on skills for:

 Best Short film


 Best Animation
 Best Music Video

‘BeCreative’ will pick the top 3 from each category with the winner being decided
by members of the CMP course (both 1st and 2nd years) in an online poll and survey
Monkey. (This is for pride and boasting rights rather than money)

Deadline for SUBMISSION: Friday 25th January 2019 AT 4PM

Festival date and winners announced: 4th February 2019 11.30 – 2.30
(Rotherfield Hall)

The competition will start 5th November 2018 and more information on the
