NEEDS

INTRODUCTION (10 minutes)

3. Present the topic title: Multimedia Information and Media
4. State the objective of the lesson and learning outcomes.

MOTIVATION (10 minutes)


Prepare a downloaded video
1. Show to the learner a 3-minute multimedia video that explains an advocacy, lesson, or concept. version of the video if there is
2. After they have viewed the video, ask the learners the following question: no interaction at school.
a. What is the video all about?
b. Did the video effectively convey the information to you?
c. What are the components of the video?
d. How did the components contribute to conveying of the information?

INSTRUCTION/DELIVERY (60 minutes)

1. Expound on what Multimedia Information and Media are.


2. Elaborate the ideas underlying nonlinearity of multimedia.
3. Using a motion picture, identify the media used to supplement communication and other media modalities Brainstorming
in its informative capabilities.
Steps to follow: Think-Pair-Share
 A couple of pictures will be shown in class through a PowerPoint Presentation.
 Each picture has its corresponding meaning depending upon the interpretation of the student who Picture Analysis
will be tasked to do the explanation.
 Aside from the meaning itself, they will also be tasked to identify each medium used to
supplement communication and other media modalities in its informative capabilities.
 Each correct answer in subject for 5 points.
4. Differentiate analog format of video and audio from digitalized data.
5. Enumerate some steps and guidelines you can use to make your multimedia presentations more appealing
and credible for your audiences.

PRACTICE (60 minutes)

Make a reflection paper based on the given guide questions. Reflection Paper
1. How else can multimedia enhance your sensory perceptions?
2. Do you think multimedia can affect a person’s attentions span? Why or why not?
3. Does multimedia also put some people at a least competitive position? How?

ENRICHMENT (30 minutes)

1. Learners differentiate multimedia from the other media modalities that have been discussed previously.
2. Learners identify the value adding attribute of multimedia.
3. Leaners discuss on how multimedia complements other modalities in terms of producing and sharing
information.

EVALUATION (310 minutes)

As advocate of indigenous knowledge, your group is tasked to create a short film that will be uploaded to Short Film
your electronic portfolio for public viewing. That challenge involves developing a short film that promotes the
indigenous group of people with regards to their culture and tradition such as arts and religious practices that are
not well-known in your locality. The short film must be informative, educational and at the same time, engaging.
Your output will be rated by the viewers based on; message, camera work and editing, content and background
music, character.
