Nowadays people are smarter to find out about their own health because of the widespread
use of the internet which makes it easier for them to find information. But not infrequently
the community misunderstood their health treatment. Like the use of antibiotics that are often
misused by the public. Antibiotics are a group of molecules, both natural and synthetic,
which have the effect of suppressing or stopping a biochemical process in an organism,
especially in the process of infection by bacteria. From the definition, we know that
antibiotics are used for diseases caused by bacteria alone. Not all diseases can be cured by
antibiotics. With antibiotic abuse can cause antibiotic resistance. In recent years it has been
discovered that no new antibiotics have been found. Therefore we need to be smart in using
antibiotics to prevent antibiotic resistance.

Through this poster, we would like to persuade the public to be more careful in using
antibiotics by means of "ABCD".

This tagline “ABCD” tell us if we want to consume antibiotics we must ask before to our
healthcare professional “Are these antibiotics necessary?”. All medicine is made for a
specific disease, antibiotics same too. Antibiotics produced for any categories. So if we are
sick and want to consume antibiotics, we must know what the bacteria’s infected us? Because
etiology from our disease not only infected et causa bacteria. Many people have wrong
stigmas about antibiotics. Their mindset is all disease can be cured by antibiotics. As we
know, antibiotics only kill the bacterias, not the virus.
Antibiotics have a prescribed dose. So if we take antibiotics, we have to spend them
according to a doctor's prescription. Because if not, it will have a negative impact on
treatment and can lead to antibiotic resistance. Antibiotic resistance is the ability where
antibiotics are not able to fix germs. This is a pretty dangerous thing because in the last 10
years there has been no discovery of the latest antibiotics. If this continues, there will be an
increase in diseases caused by bacteria. Therefore, increase knowledge about antibiotics. If
not, Antibiotics will kill us so prevent with ABCD.
